  • 12 Signs You Might Be A Traditional Catholic:

    1. Your family has been mistaken as Mormon or Mennonites.

    2. Stories about wearing hand-me-down clothes strike a chord with you.

    3. You have been asked if you know so-and-so from St. Mary's.

    4. Another Christmas, another new Angelus Press calendar.

    5. You think of a family of five as being small.

    6. The sight of someone using a Kleenex as a veil is something you've witnessed.

    7. You know exactly which restaurants have good "Friday menus".

    8. The sight of a woman wearing a skirt over a pair of jeans doesn't strike you as odd.

    9. So far this year you've received donation requests from three parish schools, two convents, and at least one seminary.

    10. You scrounge for unusual Saint names to avoid being the eleventh family this year to name your child Mary or Michael.

    11. The idea of Latin as an international language makes sense to you.

    12. You think a one hour fast before communion is for Novus Ordo wimps who can't do three.
