Tips I've never read anywhere else!

These aren't just the standard fare, worn-out suggestions like "have your tires properly inflated", etc.

There are some very advanced techniques in here.

I imagine public transport is quite cheap in the USA. Here, a 3-mile bus journey (which can last up to half an hour, assuming there are no delays such as heavy traffic or roadworks) costs me over £4 return ($7.80) It's almost as expensive to drive. Taking the train to uni (a 20-minute journey) costs around £7 ($13.60) and the prices are rising all the time.

Our petrol (gas) is now 116.9 per litre at the supermarket where I work (that's the cheapest around). That's about $7 a gallon.

Well, I wish we had public transit over here. We really don't though. Some cities have bus service, but only the MAJOR cities have things like subways, passenger trains, etc.

We're just too big and spread out of a country.
