  • Hi Everyone,

"Long time, no post."  I found this webpage while looking for old, "purged" SSPX articles:

    http://www.cathinfo.com/index.php?a=printer&t=6641

It seems that the SSPX webmaster ("Louis") is under orders not to allow the sspx.org website to be archived:

    http://web.archive.org/web/20120624142942/sspx.org

It's great, Matthew, that you were able to save those wonderful articles.  Question is, "Where are they on this website"?  I could not find them.

Also, if things "get nasty" (the SSPX comes after you for "copyright infringement"), we could always store the articles in a Tor hidden server:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(anonymity_network)#Hidden_services

    Something to consider.

    Blessings,

    Don

  • Welcome back to CI, Jehanne! Good to see you.

    God Bless.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • They are beginning to look like the (P)EWTN Forum, that kind of "sanitation" happens there all the time!

Like the post about the Jєωs and LT said it was under construction. Haven't checked back to see if it was finally finished -- that was a long time ago...

  • At the beatification of Joan of Arc (December 13, 1908), the saintly Pope Pius X said:

"In our time more than ever before, the greatest asset of those disposed toward evil is the cowardice and weakness of good men, and all the vigor of Satan’s reign is due to the easygoing weakness of Catholics. Oh! if I might ask the Divine Redeemer, as the Prophet Zachary did in spirit (Zach. 13:6a): ‘What are those wounds in the midst of Thy hands?’ The answer would not be doubtful: ‘… With these I was wounded in the house of them that loved me’ (Zach. 13:6b). I was wounded by my friends, who did nothing to defend me, and who, on every occasion, made themselves the accomplices of my adversaries. And this reproach can be leveled at the weak and timid Catholic of all countries."

    How unambiguously stunning!

  • I wish we could get our hands on purged conference tapes/CDs from STAS Audio too.

I've mentioned it before but I noticed that in the set The Cloister of the Home (iirc), conferences for men done in 1998, +Williamson's conference on the differences between men and women has been taken out. A very neutral subject going that far back...is that really necessary? If I wasn't suspicious before that kind of nailed it for me.
