  • I was just invited by some friends for a special Stations of the Cross in the chapel adjacent to my local NO parish. They said that the meditations will be focused on violence in the world today, and they want it to appeal to "today's Catholics." I asked what that meant, and they said they might be using modern images for the Stations, and I got the impression they would be photographs symbolic of the Stations (I'm still not quite sure what this means).

What do y'all think about this? Is it okay to meditate on world violence? To use "modern images"? To do both? I'm inclined to say that the meditation is alright, but the images sound too much of a distraction from the purpose of reflecting on Jesus' Passion. Any thoughts? (Also, I understand some might not like the idea of Stations in NO chapels at all, but please ignore this right now.)

They wish to deflect from the Cross. This is the essence of the anti-Christ. These people are diabolical, though most likely they don't know it. Refuse any participation whatsoever. And watch:

  • I misremembered. It was the current pretender "subsisting in" the Chair of Peter who did it:

  • I found a booklet for the stations of the Cross, and when I read it, I realized, the new church changed the meaning of the stations to reflect on the sufferings of man instead of the sufferings of God.

Just as they changed the meaning of sin, it is sin only if your actions hurt man, because God doesn't matter anymore to them.

Yes, I agree we have the Corporal Acts of Mercy, but the intent we should have is doing good for man because we love God.  Where they just focus on doing good for man, as the main reason.  Forget what God wants, He is no longer in the picture.  If you notice, all the changes have been for the benefit of man.

The Mass, turning away from the tabernacle, toward man.
All men are saved, even the Jєωs do not need conversion.
The First Commandment is forgotten, since all religions are equal.
Follow your conscience, no matter if your conscience is formed properly or not, in other words if it feels good, do it, as long as you are not hurting your neighbor.

Then they say, where is the heresy!
    Please pray for my soul.
