    • I was thinking about a man and wondered if anyone on this forum also knows him. I don't know his full name, but he goes by "Lifeboat Louis." He is a bit of a celebrity in some Catholic pro-life circles.

    • I met "Lifeboat" Louis a few times around 2005 - 2006. I remember praying the Rosary with him outside the AMC25 Theater when they showed The Da Vinci Code.

    As I recall, he used to actually live on a boat that was docked somewhere on the West Side, and when last I spoke to him he was having some trouble keeping the slip where his boat was docked... I haven't seen him since, so I don't know how that turned out.

    I've thought about him myself recently, and have wondered what's become of him. I hope he is well.
