  • I am not sure exactly what the official name for these is, but I heard the term "home altar" on another  forum. :)

    Is that a statue of St. Martin de Porres in the back, behind the picture of Our Lady of Fatima?

  • Spanish-language network Univision made an excellent film about St. Martin a few years ago. I found a copy in the Spanish section at WalMart. It has subtitles in English.

    This is a great study in real humility. I would love to have known St. Martin in life.

    Yes, he seemed like a very holy person. I will try to obtain that movie.

    I do not know why but for some reason, a lot of Vietnamese Catholics have a devotion to him.
