Out of nowhere tonight, our eight-year-old son, who has Asperger's syndrome (like Yours Truly), asked me to pray a Rosary with him. He will NEVER participate, so this was quite a (pleasant) shock. It's hard for someone with AS to sit still long enough to do anything, so I was more than happy to help him learn. He's been doing very well with his Catechism, too. (Our priest let him wait an extra year for First Confession and First Communion because of his condition.) It's great to see him starting to grow in the Faith, albeit at his own pace. Deo gratias! I just wanted to share the good news.
