  • From the Traditio website:

New Order "Catholic" Priestess Is Now Pregnant
She Hasn't "Heard a Peep" from the New Order Archdiocese of St. Louis

The Look of Newchurch Clergy to Come
A "Catholic" Priestess, Jessica Rowley, Poses Pregnant
She Was "Ordained" Just a Year Ago
Who Said that a Married Clergy
Would Solve All of Benedict-Ratzinger's Problems?!

A little over a year ago, Jessica Rowley was "ordained" a "Catholic" priestess in St. Louis, Missouri. Now she is giving birth to her first child and has achieved the distinction of becoming the world's first pregnant "Catholic" priestess. What the New Order hath wrought!

Rowley is one of roughly a dozen pastoresses presiding over churches in the Oecuмencial Catholic Communion, which bears similarities to the Roman Catholic Womenpriests organization. Rowley said that since her "ordination" over a year ago, she has "not heard a peep" from the Newchurch archdiocese of St. Louis and its archbishop Raymond "Bully" Burke -- nor does she expect to, she says. Rowley grew up in Chicago and attended Newchurch schools there. She got her Master of Divinity at St. Louis's Eden Theological Seminary under the auspices of Newchurch. In furtherance of Benedict-Ratzinger's desire for oecuмenism, she married a minister for the United Church of Christ.

You may object that this "ordination" is invalid, but that is not how the press and the world is looking at it. In one press report describing Rowley's pregnancy, the adjective "Catholic" was used four times, and "Roman Catholic" another four times. Of course, we know that "Catholic" in this case means the Newchurch of the New Order.

In truth, Benedict-Ratzinger is as soft on priestesses as he is on criminal presbyters. Oh, sure, he mouths a few weak objections, but meanwhile is moving toward the "ordination" of lectoresses, as recommended by his just-concluded Synod at Newrome. He certainly doesn't proclaim from the papal balcony with the stentorian voice of a St. Peter or a St. Paul just how unCatholic and bizarre these goings-on are. Perhaps, taking a page from his own Newbishop of Boston, Massachusetts, who directed his Newchurchers not to work against "gαy" marriage because "we don't want to offend our gαy Catholics," Benedict-Ratzinger doesn't want to "offend his Catholic priestesses."

That's because the Church doesn't recognize her as a priest.

The Church is no more concerned with "Catholic priestesses" than with "Popes" elected by their family.

    Don't shoot the messenger.

Sorry, Pessimist. I was just pointing that this highly vitriolic article appears to be using this woman as an example of the "depravity" of the current Catholic Church when the Church has in fact firmly rejected the "ordinations" of women "priests". How ironic that, like Tradito.com itself, her group refuse to recognize the Papal authority of Pope Benedict XVI.
