  • I've noticed that Indult Catholics tend to sympathize with nebulous notions of "free speech" (weaponized today to allow blasphemy and pornography(!)), constitutional republics, believe that America is the end of history, and American "values" should be spread throughout the world. This tends to be the glib position of the vast majority of conservative Christians I have come in contact with. Not only was the USA a gaggle of Masons, Judaizers (Puritans), individualists, and Jєωs, the principles the nation has reflect this! Now it is nothing other than an oligarchy controlled by Jєωs/Satanists, spreading their immoral filth around the world. How can these "Catholics"  ("traditional" seemingly, in Mass only) defend a nation based on the very values of the destructive French revolution and the Enlightenment?

  • Hey I think it is simply a matter of upbringing and what we Americans are taught (or rather not taught) our whole life.  I could never get into the whole Thanksgiving mythos with the Puritans and all that.  But that’s because I know about the English cινιℓ ωαr where Cromwell and his cronies banned Christmas, drinking and dancing and also brought back the Jєωs.  What an exchange!  But mention this to them and all you’ll get is blank stares...

  • While they didn’t practice the Mosaic law so far as I know they behaved in a similar manner to the Jєωs.  While the king in England and the Anglican Tories wanted to preserve some of England’s medieval Catholic heritage the Puritans and Whigs wanted to purge the Church of England of all remnants of “popery”.

Like the iconoclasts they tore down religious statues and images  claiming this was idolatry.  Puritans saw themselves as the Israelite chosen people and Catholics as Philistines and idolaters.  Their emphasis on the Old Testament instead of the New Testament is also reflected in their choice of names.  They tended to name children after Old Testament figures rather than Apostles or saints.

E Michael Jones and Charles Coulombe go into a lot of detail on this issue as well as many others.

I find it misleading that you specify "Indulters" think this way as of they may be the only ones. There are plenty of Trads who think this way too. Maybe even a couple lurking in this forum. Not gonna give examples/names.
This is people and ultra Patriots in general. You'll even find Novus Ordites who do and those who do not agree with this.
