Violent act? Perhaps.

Senseless? No...it was quite rational.
"Art" like that has no excuse for existence. It's blasphemy, and my rational brain says it must go.

Don't call ANY violent act a "senseless act of violence".

A senseless act of violence is to pick a person off the street and beat them up or kill them. Or to walk into a building and start shooting people. Such actions are not "called for".

What this lady did WAS "called for" by the fact it blasphemed the Most High God.

I wonder if anyone has started a defense fund for this woman? I'd throw in what I could afford. The woman should be applauded not arrested. You would think at my age I'd be immune to porn posing as art, but I'm not! I'll not even mention that it was a depiction of Our Lord in this pornography or my blood pressure will blow the top of my head off! A pity Miss Folden didn't take a crowbar to the artist's head as well as the painting.

I'd like to make a HUGE issue out of this. Look at that guy from texas who was going to burn the koran, he was demonized all over the media but something like this is ok?

Thursday, did you read the one on the news about the man in Tenn. who forgot to pay his annual $75 tax for fire protection. His double wide caught light, and the fire fighters stood around and watched it burned to the ground with two dogs and a cat inside. But they did hose down the neighbor's home since they paid their fee, just in case the flames spread to their dwelling.

I did like the part of the article where the now homeless man's brother went to the fire station and punched the fire chief in the eye. He was arrested for assault. It's getting harder and harder to decide which cause to contribute to.

Yes, I was comparing the blasphemous artwork of the man to the plan to burn the Koran, both dispicable actions that should be condemned by all decent people. Not a peep off outrage over the blasphemous artwork as compared to the Koran thing.
