Well, we aren't even halfway out of Black History Month, and there's just so many black history issues to keep talking about. I think that with this post, I'm interested in generating some conversation to sort of invest in next year's considerations. I thought quite a bit about the Curse of Ham, thanks to last year's discussion started by rum.
But now, I'm going to turn this upside down on folks, upend a lot of assumptions, and discuss a particular statistic.
It seems that couples in which the man is white and the woman is black have a highly successful rate, with an extremely low percentage of divorce. Far lower than white man/white woman divorce rates, and definitely black man/black woman divorce rates.
While I have no objection to various people's private preferences--principled or just based on preference--
I actually do not oppose race mixing. To generate some nice complex thoughts on this, I recommend Captain Capitalism's recent video,
The Economics of Reverse Jungle Fever:

Also, let's consider the success of the Spanish colonization of pre-Judaized English America. Consider how the royalty in Spain wanted to elevate the natives, and even encouraged the Spanish conquistadors to interbreed with them. This is an excerpt from C.H. Haring's
The Spanish Empire in America:
The Papal Bull of 1493, which gave to the kings of Castile dominion over the Indies, imposed one supreme obligation: to spread the gospel and draw the pagans into the Church of Christ; and Isabella to the day of her death regarded the welfare of the American natives as a major responsibility. When, therefore, the new governor, Nicolas de Ovando, came out to America in 1502, he was instructed by Isabella to assure the native chiefs that they and their people were under the crown's special protection. They might go in entire fredom about the island, and no one was to rob them or harm them in any way, under severe penalties. They were to pay tribute only as the rest of the king's subjects. Only in the royal service in mines or on public works might they be compelled to labor. These orders were followed to the letter. But left to themselves, the Indians refused to work...They withdrew from all association with the colonists, with results that from the European point of view were disastrous. Within a few months Governor Ovando wrote to Spain protesting that the only effect was the falling off of tribute, lack of labor, and inability to carry forward the work of conversion to Christianity.
The soverigns replied with the famous orders of March and December 1503, which legalized the forced labor of free Indians but attempted at the same time to protect them from uncontrolled exploitation. The natives must be made to work, if necessary, on buildings and farms and in the mines, but in moderation and for reasonable wages. At the same time, to ensure their being civilized, they must be gathered into villages, under the administration of a patron or protector, and provided with a school and a missionary priest. Each adult Indian was to have a house and land which he might not alienate. Intermarriage of Spaniards and Indians was also to be encouraged. And in everything they were to be treated "as free persons, for such they are." Only cannibal Indians from neighboring islands if taken in war might be sold into slavery.
Keep in mind that last bolded part:
Intermarriage of Spaniards and Indians was also to be encouraged. And in everything they were to be treated "as free persons, for such they are."
I would say that the Catholic Spanish were doing a fine job of converting the natives, compared to the isolating and genocidal actions of the Protestant English.
(As an aside, this is actually one of the places where I disagree with Vox Day, who wants to return the United States to a pre-1965 demographic in order to fix America's problems.)
So, the question of the hour is this:
Will blending the people together into one identity help to cure America's problems? I'm not saying it's a be-all-end-all cure. But I am asking if racial blending will be conducive to erasing the racial rifts of this country. Because let's face it: the whites, blacks, hispanics, and shred of Indians--not to mention the other brown peoples from everywhere else who are a small minority--these people are not realistically going anywhere anytime soon. (Yes, Trump may massively deport illegal immigrants, but there will still be substantial amounts of Latin Americans here on the other side of that action.)
If it worked for the Spanish, and if statistics seem to point in that direction, then is it true?
Discuss.

Is tupping your white ewe.
*Her name, that was as fresh
As Dian's visage, is now begrimed and black
As mine own face.
