  • How about Texas pride?                    (according to Wikipedia)

There is Pride of Texas, first studio album of red dirt metal band, Texas Hippie Coalition, 2008.

There is Pilgrim's Pride (products), which had an outbreak of avian flue in northeast Texas, 2004.

Or Houston gαy Pride Parade, held annually in Texas, since 1979.

And don't forget Charlie Pride, who became minority owner of the Texas Rangers (baseball) in 2010.

And we have the USS Pride (DE-323, keel laid in Orange, TX), namesake of Bailey Pride, Jr., a casualty of Pearl Harbor, 1941.

And last but least, InterPride, a transgender culture and pride organization incorporated in Texas in the 1980's.
