Are certain groups of people, types of people, races of people, cultures, etc. just totally stupid about coughing on their neighbor, going out and about when they're sick, etc.? Some entire cities don't wash their hands ever? I would have thought a huge group like the population of a city couldn't be generalized in this way. I would think that in each city, you have some people who wash their hands a lot and some who don't even wash hands after using the bathroom.
Just look at these headlines, and explain IF YOU CAN. Some states opening up, and in other places you have way more than single-digit cases. Apparently a Tyson plant has 40% infected! That's probably more infected than San Antonio and all the small towns in a 100 mile radius combined.
If the disease were simply that infectious, we'd be seeing a MUCH higher number in other parts of the country. Something isn't adding up.
Is it true that you test positive for Coronavirus (antibodies) if you've had a flu vaccine in the past 10 years?
Home Depot is like stepping into a dystopian sci-fi novel. They have "social distancing" and other measures turned up to 11. Are you saying Tyson isn't taking ANY precautions with its employees? Considering how close they normally stand to each other? Do they WANT to lose billions of dollars, go out of business, or is there some dark agenda at play?

Density, I would suspect, has a great deal to do with it. And it only makes sense. The closer proximity you have to more people, the greater the risk of them passing anything on to you. Compare New York to California-- similar populations in the metro areas but the more suburbanized and expansive character of CA (compared to NY's tenements) means the virus just doesn't spread the same way. In Minnesota, Hennepin county (where Minneapolis is) has (by far) the most cases. And it is the densest county in Minnesota. Rural counties (counties, not cities) have far fewer cases-- sometimes less than twenty total cases.
If Tyson treats their workers the same way they treat their supply, I'd suspect one would find those plants to be quite dense as well.

Tyson has donated to the Republican Party in the past.

In raw mest processing plants employees work in a refrigerated environment which can make you more susceptible to respiratory infections, and if you add working side by side with dozens of people for several hours, perfect recipe for disaster.

Better and healthier to buy local. Maybe neighborhood butchers will make a comeback. ( It seems to me that the most liberal states have the most cases. )
