    I was once snapped out of an adolescent mindset by a priest who publicly told me to stop trying so hard to be cool in front of crowds of parishioners. Having compared my since sub-standard level of coolness, I am beginning to have doubts...

    Of course, we prep.  You don’t need much money to prep.  The majority of people rich or poor today waste time and neglect spiritual prepping and other prepping.  Many rich and poor deny Jesus Christ.  Jesus told his disciples to go into towns with very little to heal and preach the gospel.  The disciples didn’t charge people to hear the gospel.
