Who coined the term "resistance'? What is Fr. Chazal, or Fr. Pfeiffer? Or perhaps was it Fr. Hewko? Or, perhaps was it +Williamson? I tend to think it was either Fr. Chazal or Pfieffer. But, I want to know. Because, that word and concept is being used by so many parties at the moment. Church militant tv for one are officially adopting the term "resistance", although they hate sspx. Rosie Odonald is adopting the word "resistance" when it comes to Trump. And, other left wing groups are adopting the term resistance when it comes to trump. So, I cannot help but see a parallel, that the true resistance(to the new sspx) has such a power to it that even the leftists have to get a piece of the pie. So, I want to know who first said it.
On second thought. I know who first said it. St. Paul first said it, when he said he resisted st peter to his face.
I just find it funny and interesting, because I keep hearing groups these days calling themselves a resistance, or the resistance. And, they may be leftists or rightists, or liberals or conservatives. Somebody of recent memory(Chazal or Pfeiffer) resurrected the term and it really has caught on.
It just goes to show how influential true catholics are. We are the salt of the earth.
This rosie odonald video make me decide to start this thread, although I have been thinking and noticing this for months now. -
