It was a rough day for author and CNN legal analyst Areva Martin on Tuesday.
Martin accused Sirius XM radio and Fox Nation host David Webb (https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/david-webb-so-you-think-a-divided-congress-works-best-here-s-my-message-for-you) of “white privilege” during a segment on a radio program before he broke the news.

“Areva, I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve been better prepped. I’m black,” Webb said.
The embarrassing moment occurred during a discussion about experience being more important than race when determining whether or not someone is qualified for a particular job.
“I’ve chosen to cross different parts of the media world, done the work so that I’m qualified to be in each one. I never considered my color the issue, I considered my qualifications the issue,” Webb said.
“That’s a whole, another long conversation about white privilege, the things that you have the privilege of doing, that people of color don’t have the privilege of,” said Martin – who also hosts CBS’ “Face the Truth.”
A dumbfounded Webb asked, “How do I have the privilege of white privilege?”
Martin responded, “David, by virtue of being a white male you have white privilege.”
The Fox Nation host then explained that he was actually black.
“I stand corrected,” Martin said.
Webb scolded Martin for running with an “assumption" and she then blamed her team for providing inaccurate information.
“That’s actually insulting,” Webb said.
“It is and I apologize,” Martin replied. “I was given wrong information.”
Martin’s spokesperson declined a request for comment.

Stuff like this proves that even when they're right, they don't know what the ____ they're talking about. They spout their beliefs (which tend to clash with reality) and they are only right occasionally, by accident.

Let me put it this way: read the black woman's comments. I've heard such comments uttered with equal conviction against many white men in the past. With equal conviction. But in this case, she was talking to a black man and didn't know it! It just shows how nonsensical their position is.

Break it up, take it outside, behave yourselves, etc.

Laramie wrote a PM to me complaining about this thread -- but what I found as an objective moderator was TWO (note the plural) members having an immature argument.

It takes 2 to tango, guys.

If Laramie had acted the mature adult (ignoring the bait), I wouldn't have had to delete TEN posts. I didn't find Quid posting 5 times in a row -- I saw a back-and-forth. Equally immature content on BOTH sides.

Each side probably thought he was miles above the other. But as an objective third party, I saw no difference at all in the behavior of the two in this particular thread.

DAILYKENN.com  (http://www.dailykenn.com/)-- 'White privilege' is a cultural Marxist  contrivance that serves to demonize white people as bourgeoisie. It is normally used effectively as a placement term for "racist" with the added caveat that it applies to all white people. 

However, when CNN legal analyst Areva Martin used the disgusting slur to debase talk show presenter David Webb, she was fully unaware that shameful consequences awaiting. Unbeknownst to Martin, David Webb is not white. Even if white privilege existed (it doesn't), it could not apply to Webb. 

There was, however, a positive outcome: Martin unintentionally provided massive media attention for Webb.  

Sadly, Webb broke the news. How amusing it would have been had Webb continued the conversation having never informed his accuser that her racist slur was misappropriated.

 Fox Nation host David Webb slammed CNN legal analyst Areva Martin for defaulting to a “false-narrative” attack when she accused him of benefiting from white privilege before learning he was black.

“There is no such thing as white privilege,” Webb said Wednesday morning on “Fox & Friends.”

Webb said Martin should be embarrassed for using an “easy, false narrative” when trying to make a point. Fox Nation’s “Reality Check” host accused Martin of assuming he was white simply because of his thoughts on issues such as due process.

Caleb Hanna is a case in point. A 19-years-old, the college student is the nation's youngest black lawmaker. He was elected to West Virginia's House of Representatives as a Republican.

His platform is concise: He is pro-God, pro-guns, and pro-life.

Caleb Hanna is not your typical college student. At 19, he's already making history as the nation's youngest black legislator.

Inspired by former President Barack Obama, but on completely opposite sides of the aisle, the freshman Republican delegate in the West Virginia House of Delegates ran on a platform of supporting "God, guns, and babies."

He's a pro-life, Christian conservative who says God influences everything he does.

"I'm very religious," Hanna said. "I believe God comes first and foremost in every policy decision I should make. I'm very supportive of our Second Amendment rights and our right to bear arms, and I believe that we have to stand up for those who don't get the chance to stand up for themselves. So, I'm very pro-life."

Hanna, who campaigned from his dorm room at West Virginia State University where he still resides and studies economics, said he was inspired to run himself because he was never pleased with the leadership at the state level.

"I told myself when I was old enough to have a chance to take a run at it that I would do it, and this was my first time I had the opportunity," he said.

On Tuesday, Hanna announced on "Fox & Friends" his support to take a portion of his state's surplus and apply it to President Trump's border wall.

"I am happy to co-sponsor a piece of legislation that I don't think just West Virginia will be happy about, but the American people as a whole," Hanna said. "We owe it to the voters...I believe that the wall is a crucial part in addressing West Virginia's drug problem."

The bill would take $10 million of the state's $200 million surplus and apply it to the southern border. Hanna believes it will have the support to pass.
