Outside of leftist ideologue academic radicals (LIARs), I know of no one who feels guilty about "being white".  Especially when we view the videos of "women" fist-fighting over consumer goods during this "Season of Sharing" (as one retailer has euphemistically put it).

As Martin Luther King so succinctly said, it's not "the color of your skin, but the content of your character" that counts.

Actually, "white guilt" is very prevalent among the political class, the academic class, journalists, lawyers, and among the very wealthy.  I would estimate close to 90% of these groups.

You don't find this prevalent in the vast majority of people who simply live their lives and work ordinary jobs or run small businesses.  Among these people, I would estimate this psychological affliction affects less than 1%.

I wonder if it's true "guilt", or feigned in order to cultivate a PC persona.  Like the celebs who whine and cry about carbon footprints before hopping on their private jets and private yachts

Personally, I used to think this.  But I no longer do.  Even the celebs who hypocritically fly on private and chartered jets to the next global warming conference actually believe the crap that they spout.  The same goes with the classes of people I noted above.  Their feelings of guilt are real even though it's based on nothing but falsehoods.

As Chesterton noted, "When a man stops believing in God he doesn’t then believe in nothing, he believes anything."

I like that Chesterton show.  

I think that White Guilt is supposed to be based on White Privilege, but can also be based on Institutional Racism. Institutional Racism is defined as: inherent racism in institutions that were formed by majority White populations and for their benefit.  White Privilege is defined as:  unearned benefits that Whites enjoy, because the country has been majority White for so long.  Whites are not supposed to feel guilty for being White;  they are supposed to feel guilty for White Privilege and Institutional Racism, which is the fault of White people, not people of color.  

Obviously, an adult White person cannot change the past and sitting around feeling guilty about it, doesn't do much good.  So, they are supposed try and make a difference.  We are supposed to do this is by controlling our speech.  This is accomplished by self censorship and group censorship.  Peer pressure is an effective way of accomplishing this goal.    


The P.C. Police

Examples of White Privilege include:  

~People won't be surprised when you are articulate and well spoken.  
~You don't feel pressure to represent your race.
~You don't have to deal with negative crime statistics about your race.
~You don't have to hear that your race's iq is lower than White's.  
~You don't have to wonder if the grocery store will carry the foods you like.  
~You can find lots of books about your races history in the library.
~You don't have to struggle to learn the language.
~You can relate to television, especially the old stuff.  
~The most honored musicians in the culture belong to your race.  

Ways to overcome White Privilege include:  

~Educate yourself about Anti-Racism (don't ask people of color, look it up yourself).  
~Avoid Cultural Appropriation (for example, if you are a twerker or a rapper, be sure to give credit to African Americans for inventing this when you twerk or rap, don't just act like you invented it, because that is offensive to people of color).
~Demand that your school, workplace, government (especially local), church, restaurant, website, whatever have an equal number of people of color as they do Whites, especially Straight White Men (by far the most privileged group in The World). Also, make sure that the people of color have an equal amount of power.
~Don't be nice to White people who segregate themselves from People Of Color or say racist things about them.  In fact, have nothing to do with them.  
~A token Person Of Color is not enough;  you need a lot of them.  
~Really come down hard on The Police, because they are institutionally racist.  If they do anything that even smacks of racism, severely criticize them.  This cannot be stressed enough.  They must be stopped.  Protest and give money to organizations that fight against racist police tactics.
~Call for fairness, when you encounter White Privilege.  For example, when a cab driver tries to pick you up, because you are a White, while trying to avoid picking up the Person Of Color.  That is a clear and outrageous example of White Privilege, which should be openly opposed.  In other words, refuse the cab and tell them to pick up The Person Of Color.    
~ Support Congressional studies that could lead to Reparations for Blacks, because of Slavery.

If you actually believe what you wrote here, then you should look in the mirror to see the racist.

Double-minded people may be sufficiently delusional as to not realize their guilt is fake. A clue that someone has self-delusion is when their actions don't line up with their claims. The Sobran quotes perfectly illustrate the double-minded nature of white and Jєωιѕн progressives, especially in relation to blacks. Jєωs are so guilt-free that their intelligentsia cover up the extensive involvement Jєωs had in the Atlantic Slave Trade. Ben Affleck's guilt isn't sufficient to not try and cover up his slave-owning ancestor. He even had the black Henry Uncle Tom Gates help him do it.

The attempt to guilt whites has a Jєω origin. It's not promoted by non-white gentiles who aren't servants of the Jєωs.
