This is going to be a work-in-progress, but I invite everyone's participation, but please, preserve the numbering! Here are five of mine (not in any order of significance):
1) That the Church of Christ does not subsist fully, absolutely, and uniquely in the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church. Condemned as heretical and false.
2) That the Church of Christ is not the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church. Condemned as heretical and false.
3) That the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ, the sole God Incarnate, is not "one and the same" with His Bride, the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church. Condemned as heretical and false.
4) That women could be ordained to the Sacrament of Holy Orders at any time in the past or future. Condemned as heretical and false.
5) That the Sacrament of Matrimony to be valid does not require the union of one man with one woman. Condemned as heretical and false.
Okay, keep going with #6.

I am not sure the Church has taught that women cannot be ordained deacons infallibly. They would receive holy orders if that is possible.
Please note I am not in favor of this and am not in any way advocating ti. I just thin that saying that woman cannot be ordained to the diaconate is infallible teaching may be overstating the case.
-
#6 That the state should exist seperate from the Church.
-Condemned
I don't know if I am doing it right. But perhaps other things from the constitution could go on the Syllabus.
-
Yes, perfect!
-
#7 that laymen may touch or distribute the Holy Sacrament.
#8 that the Mass may be conducted in the language of the people.
#9that secular music may be used in the celebration of Holy Mass.

Well, rather than simply disliking my post, could someone show me where the Church has infallibly or even authoritatively taught that women cannot be deacons?
I do not support women being ordained deacons. I really, really don't. I would be happy to acknowledge this as infallible teaching if it actually is. I would be pleased to do so, in fact.

If you look at the purpose of this thread, it is meant to come up with ideas for the syllabus. Why don't you do that instead of trying to start an argument.

10. That God used evolution to create the universe. Condemned
-
Yes, please, and thank you. Let's argue about things in other threads. :incense:
-
I really wasn't trying to start an argument. I just asked a question. But your point about the purpose of the thread is well taken, so I offer my own suggestion for a new point on the Syllabus.
11. The Church has infallibly taught that women cannot be ordained to any Holy Order.
Now, could a few people please like this post?

A few more propositions needed for condemnation--
--Noah's flood was not global but only local if it even occurred at all.
--Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God.
