  • If so, what are the ramifications?

Rosemary started a poll about this, but the poll was so poorly crafted I had to get rid of it. It didn't have choices that made sense -- such as "yes" or "no".

On the other hand, I didn't want it to look like I'm forbidding discussion of the topic on CathInfo -- so here we are!

  • No.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • I thought it was easy to create a poll.  I guess I just don't know how to create one.

One of the reasons to perpetuate the moon hoax, is to exalt man.  The biggest reason is to denigrate Our Lady.  She is pictured as standing on the moon.

I will find some compelling links to disprove the moon hoax.  Here is a very telling cartoon.

  • Let's hear it from both sides and not just jump to any conclusions.  :reporter:

    Facts  :detective:

    Eyewitness accounts  :tv-disturbed:

    Opinions  :scratchchin:

    Suspicions   :really-mad2:

    Motives

Did this have anything to do with the Novus Ordo Mass?   :laugh2:

Was any of us actually on the flight to the moon?   :jumping2:

Is this just another opportunity for the American baby boomer generation to celebrate itself?  I mean, isn't that what mirrors are for???

How much money did this cost the American taxpayer and all they got for it is some lousy black and white footage of a guy in a weird costume holding up a flag (that is blowing and upright???)  :soapbox:

Didn't the space program bring the invent of the disposable diapers to the world?  So I guess it really wasn't all just up in smoke...   :roll-laugh1:

This post has really given me a good opportunity to use as many smiley faces as possible.

  • Does it really matter?

For the record however, most of the "moon landing was faked" evidence has been massively, thoroughly debunked.
I once read one "debunker" say: "It had to be a fake! I mean, in the videos on the moon they have gravity! I mean, everyone knows there's no gravity in space!"

Heard of it. How does a fictional movie prove anything?

Clear thinking isn't your forte, is it?

So, for you, all it takes is one nutter to totally invalidate a position?

And no, the evidence has NOT been debunked.

  • Am I a rare breed, to possess common sense?

I mean, think about it --

Traditional Catholics today have 42 years of evidence to point to, proving that Vatican II and the Novus Ordo are dangerous to souls. We have proof now -- it's not speculation. Mass attendance figures don't lie. Ignorance of basic Catholic dogmas and ignorance of the Catholic Faith in general is proof that something is very amiss in the Conciliar Church today.

Traditional Catholics in 1975 didn't have this. Only those who understood what was going on could react quickly. For many people, it took more time.

Likewise, one could speculate in the 70's and 80's about the Moon Landing, but they didn't have as much to go on. But today, we have an additional argument: It's been how long since we "went to the Moon"? The last purported Moon landing was in 1972. Hello -- that was 40 years ago!

The fact that we haven't been back since -- to the Moon or anywhere else outside low earth orbit -- suggests it was all a Cold War scam to "beat the Russians".

Actually, what it means is that we don't have the political will to go beyond the moon. Once the Russians stopped pushing us scientifically we shut things down.

Most of the "evidence" such as the "flag flapping in the wind", etc., has been debunked. I will post more later when I get the time.

Does it really matter, brainglitch? Indeed it does.
The Russians made us do it.  :devil2: Amazing!

Obviously to fool another generation of newbies...

Either that it's "milk the taxpayer" time at NASA...
