I don't believe the results. Are THAT many people stupid/brainwashed/pro-gun control?

From CNN.com:

Mr. Matthew,

Methinks there's no shortage of cowardice here in the good 'ol U.S. of A. This is not "stupidity," or at least not primarily. This is essentially Olympic Gold Medal gutlessness on a monumental epic scale. It's what we get with a nation of peasants who lack a nobility to lead them.

The good news: A nation of sheep awaits a few shepherds. Sheep don't put up much fight when the Catholic shepherds arrive either. When the masses are so gutless, what are we Catholic men waiting for? As is said: "The harvest is ripe and the reapers are few..." Time for the Catholic noble few to get a move on and start cracking some whips.

Let numbers be damned! Sheep like those in the above poll aren't going to put up much resistance against us.

I no longer put any stock in "polls". They are too easily cooked up in order to sway the mind of the public.

Consider the source, CNN. Founded by commie-lovin', Christophobic, foamin-at-the-mouth rabble rouser extraordinaire Ted ( "You one of them Jesus freaks?" ) Turner....

Had Turner and his Chi-com trained stooges covered the event whereat Our Lord approached His Apostles by walking on the sea, CNN's crawling headline would have read....

This was probably a online "poll". These are usually worthless. Sites like 4chan and others organize campaigns to shift votes, sometimes extremely.
