  • Using my virus protection software eight threats were detected, and all
of them were due to my attempt to read the Angelus Press Blog.

Name of virus = HTML/ScrInject.B.Gen virus

The Detected Threat log of the first one is as follows:

  • Use Linux. You can't get a virus from Windows working on Linux, except if you have Wine.

  • You can get a Windows virus on a Linux machine, it just won't execute and won't harm your computer. However, if the virus gets on your Linux system, and you then email a Windows machine the virus by accident (or transport it with a USB drive, etc.), that virus can travel from your Linux machine to a Windows machine. Same holds true for Macs or any other computer. Just thought I should point that out....

WordPress is frequently the subject of attacks, especially since people frequently set them up, use extensions, and then neglect to keep them up to date or do anything for security.

You should contact the site owner if possible about the issue.

The security on your computer and your browser settings should be prudently set.
