Does this mean they are acknowleding the power of miracles brought about through Our Lady's intercession?

I think it is more of a CONTROL factor on a person's faith & worship.

I would agree with Cub, except that the Catholics are no longer a giant.  Yes, it's about money, but remember who is really behind this---satan.  Take a look at the attacks on Christian holidays, morals, art, etc, etc.  Why wouldn't he attempt to eradicate sacramentals, as well as sacraments, and use one of his many arms to accomplish it.  And remember the rosary is at an all time low since V II.

I think you underestimate the strenght of the symbols being attacked by the suggestions in the article.

Even a far left secularist would stand up and denounce against such an intrusion into religious liberties on the grounds of individual freedom (something everyboby agrees on).

The FDA regulates food supplies safety and it's under this responsibility that it would regulate the way it does on milk. Wither this is right or not is out of scope of this discussion. By what mental flip do you say that the FDA considers whole milk as a drug ?  It considers it as food, and it regulates food.

Yes, they let us consume neurotoxic fluoride, aspartame, genetically engineered foods, etc. into our food supply.  They take really good care of us. (sarcasm)

Furthermore, on the subject of Milk...

While it's true that the FDA discourage and issues warnings on the possible risks of drinking raw milk, there is not a federal, FDA ban on drinking raw milk but rather on making it a lucrative business.

What are the risks of drinking raw milk? Happened humans been drinking raw milk since the beginning of time? Don't farmers still drink raw milk from their own cows?
