  •   My brother bough Max pain series and it had scences of nudity and love making. Now the 5th version is thankfully banned here, I wonder how awful that one may be.

  • You're all welcome. I'm glad I posted this to show what kind of disgusting, Satanic garbage has found its way into video games. Some of my family members play video games and, unfortunetly some of my own family members have been around evil games themselves. I remember a few years ago one of my relatives playing a game called Guild Wars (he may have also been playing War Craft, two other satanic games I forgot to mention). Luckily he no longer plays either one of them. However, that's why when it comes to video games, I always say "stick to sports games" (with a few exceptions, such as wrestling games).

  • The Sims is the only game in which special add-ons for same-sex relationships.  It also shows the characters using the toilet.

  • Dantes Inferno was actually rated the 2nd dorkiest game of the year in 2006.

With the exception of the occult themed stuff, it's actually difficult for me to find anything outright satanic video game. Most of the material if it's present is abstract or subliminal.

Maybe when I get some more money coming in I'll to try to buy a few (used) Army Men games, and a Crusader Stronghold expansion pack and maybe Medieval Total War II. Im not buying any new crap, because they are always going to make new crap for me to buy every year.

I shouldnt be wasting time on video games, let alone wasting money on them, but Im always finding situations where I can turn my brain off... like visits to my grandparents house.  :laugh1:

That's pretty gross. I knew the Sims was bad, but I didn't know it was THAT bad.

It should have also been put on a list of the must-avoid games of 2006.

Alot of times it can seem rather difficult to point out anything outright satanic in a video game because Satan likes to hide evil and make it look innocent. But really, it's obvious these games don't want to hide it and it's easy to point out something wrong in a video game. Satan can hide something satanic behind something that appears so innocent, but he can't hide what's wrong.

I tend to avoid any kind of shooting game, by the way. It may only be a game but I couldn't sit there killing people even if it was just virtual people.

I used to have a Super NES. Those were the days before all this satanic garbage made its way into video games. Back then it was all about stepping on mushrooms with Mario.

I remember a decade ago when the Super NES was no longer manufactured, but the toy stores and game shops were still offering the cartridges for it. I can clearly remember that there were some games that appeared to me (an 9 year old) as being somewhat occultic in nature, but not on the surface. I dont know where exactly you could find systems like the Super NES, but there are obscure game dealers who still keep a market alive for them, and I've seen a few on Craigslist too.

  • Yeah, this trend in video games is definitely nothing new. I remember distinctly a game for the first playstation, involving, among other things, human cannibalism, arranged marriage between cousins, attempted (albeit prevented) gαy prostitution, denial of the Creation reality as the work of aliens, full nudity, talk of killing God, Catholic Church bashing & the Church AS the bad guys, and an end boss named "deus".

That was YEARS ago. I'm sure we do not even want to contemplate (nor should we) how much worse it has gotten since then.

Any wonder why the average young person views the Catholic Church as an evil, power-hungry, "bad guy" organization of lies? It's only in just about every movie and video game they watch!

But then what do we expect when we throw our hands up and totally abandon the entire world of media entertainment to the atheists (which includes just about all of the art forms known to man)? You don't expect THEM to make Catholic (or Catholic-safe) video games, do you?
I renounce any and all of my former views against what the Church through Pope Leo XIII said, "This, then, is the teaching of the Catholic Church ...no one of the several forms of government is in itself condemned, inasmuch as none of them contains anythi

That was a terrific game for sure. you had to make the love increase and then the couple would******. The characters would make the house dirty if you didn't send them to the bathroom when needed. :barf:

  • I used to play World of Warcraft, and a few of my family members (including my husband) still play it.

I barely ever get to talk to my mother anymore because she plays so much. Two of my sisters stopped playing. Two of my brothers play it. One of them recently quit, but the other still plays. I was on and off with it since a few months after it came out, and now I think I'm done with it completely.

It was more of an outlet for me when it started out. It got to the point where I felt it was an obligation to be on, and I didn't like that at all. While my children were homeschooled a couple years ago, I quit playing completely, then, I came back during that summer, and last year they went to school, and I played for a few months. It lost its faux luster.

Haven't played since the beginning of May, and I'm really glad to be rid of it. I still get the temptation to play, but thus far (thank God) I've resisted re-upping my account.

I watch my husband play, and I just lol because of how much time he spends on it, and the seriousness of the "lewt" and the obligation he has. It's almost as if it's a second job to him.

It was worse before, though. All he did for a couple years there was raid, raid, raid. It was only between the expansions that we quit for a while. He got back on when it came out, I didn't. I relented, he continued. I quit, he continued.

I hope that he quits eventually. I'm just kinda waiting for it.
