  • Surprising to see some of the gray/undecided states like Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, and Wisconsin, which I thought would be slam dunks to prohibit abortion.

Also weird to see Alaska protecting it.

  • Could also be a good map for secession: The red/gray forming a contiguous independent country, while the blues shitholes would be split apart into ghetto communist nations.

On the other hand, I don't buy that Michigan is poised to ban abortion.

  • It looks many people in USA are still pro life.

With all the so called Catholics in New Jersey with a Catholic Governor , that should be pro life.  MCCarrick of NJ spread his devilish mortal sins all over.
May God bless you and keep you

  • The states which encourage baby-killing should be blood red.

Republicans were consistently pro-abortion until they wanted to attract Catholics and the Moral Majority in the late 1970s, and this is still the case in very libertarian places like Alaska.

  • Another way to look at this map is as: "The UN Occupation Map".

When the Biden/Khabbala usurper government invites in the UN to quell American unrest, the orange states will be their principle clean-up sites.
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

I have a pet theory, which others have attempted to shoot down in various discussions (not necessarily here, though it could have been here too), that the MSM assigned blue to liberals and red to conservatives because blue has mainly benign connotations, while red has many negative connotations.

Blue signifies calmness, peace, tranquility, coolness, rationality, and even though I doubt this was in their minds, is the color often associated with Our Lady.  (It is also a color commonly associated with Israel, and we are all surely expected to love Israel and to say she can do no wrong.)

Red signifies agitation, heat, blood, fire, fury, hatred, irrationality, revolution, disharmony, anarchy, and is commonly associated with Satan.  It is also the trademark color of Communism, just think of the flags of the Soviet Union and China.

    IOW, blue good, red bad.

The political color map should be the other way around.

It's as I always say, if we ever did have a hostile force to invade this country, first thing is, they're going to have to kill everyone south of Cincinnati and east of Albuquerque.  Talk about the proverbial sniper behind every blade of grass!

    .
Interesting theory. I think I had similar thoughts when I first heard about the blue/red distinction, probably during the Bush administration. I have no idea when this designation became part of the universal vocabulary, but if it came from the media then I completely agree with your analysis.

Kansas has a Dem. Gov. but a Rep. supermajority legislator and senate, but a liberal court which declared that the KS constitution gives right to abortion. So, the Republicans are waiting for an amendment to pass this Aug. giving the legislators the power to regulate abortion, and then hopefully a new Gov. this Nov.; then they will have no good excuse for banning abortions.

It did.  It was entirely a media creation.  In all fairness, the color scheme was reversed randomly in elections prior to the adoption of the "red conservative, blue liberal" model we have now, but a clever media manipulator might have said "hey, stop and think about it, blue means good, red means bad, let's get this into everyone's head".  Such subliminal tricks were first highlighted by Vance Packard in his book The Hidden Persuaders.

Stop and think, too, what colors are normally used in fast-food advertising?  Red, yellow, orange, excited, hungry, think McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Denny's, Waffle House, Carl's Jr, Whataburger, RED Lobster, the list goes on.  How often do you see a restaurant with predominantly blue livery?  Culver's is the only one that comes immediately to mind.

Yes. I remember when they made the change during the Obama years. It was overnight. Suddenly, in unison, the talking heads had totally reversed the BLUE Republicans and the REDS (Communists).
