I don't think it'll do anything ... from 10 weeks to 7 weeks. I bet 99% of the women who take these drugs take them immediately after fornication or at the very first signs of being pregnant. Only impact here might be in case some woman has no clue she's pregnant until week 8. Even then she'll likely find a way to get the stuff.
I almost said that this sends a good public message, but then I reconsidered. So this is considered a victory when the law effectively says that the abortion pill is legal for the first 7 weeks.
I think this is just another ruse to shift the reference frame. We're celebrating unborn children being murdered for 7 weeks as a victory ... just because it's better than their being murdered for 10 weeks?
Lame.
If you're thinking of killing your baby, you'd better hurry up and do it now because it'll be illegal next week.
Probably the only benefit is tactical, with the hope that it'll eventually lead to a case that might go to the Supreme Court and challenge Roe vs. Wade.
It's all smoke and mirrors.
They still want a "get out of jail free" card to end the pregnancy.
I have a governor here in NY that is asking them to come here after 7 weeks to finish the job.
Meanwhile, she is considering MANDATING a LAW on forced " vaxxes" of children for 5 and over.
Do you see where these "people" are going?
They are coming for our children who they couldn't terminate in the womb.
these BS laws down south of stopping abortion at X time is nonsense.
IT'S STILL MURDER.
And God is not mocked. And HE's not fooling around anymore.
Your country (or state) is going down until this BS is STOPPED.
