  • During the 1972 Summit Series between Canada and Russia, this didnt even happen. Other strange things did, but not that.

From the article linked in the OP:

    Quote

But the game was tarnished before it even started as a video emerged suggesting some of the Turkish faithful were voicing their dissent towards tributes for the 129 victims who were killed in last Friday's atrocities in Paris.

Can anyone spot the propaganda word?

    How about atrocious terrorists?

I guess that makes 2 words (atrocities) because I was thinking about "faithful."

Mohammedans are not faithful, they're unfaithful, or infidels, and they were disruptive.

Futhermore, the video doesn't "suggest" these infidels were disrupting the moment of silence with their dissent, it PROVES they were, by docuмenting it.

    Make that 3 words.

So an improved version might be as follows:

But the game was tarnished before it even started as a video emerged docuмenting how some of the disruptive Turkish infidels were voicing their dissent towards tributes for the 129 victims who were killed in last Friday's atrocious terrorism in Paris.

  • Folks, I was searching articles about "Islamophobia" and during 2011-2013 there was a huge effort by the media to put guilt in people who was afraid of terrorists.

Of course they never said "If you fear terror, you are islamophobic" but they used tricks such as showing muslim kids in UK, Canada and USA and using emotional arguments that if you feared MUSLIMS KIDS , then you were "islamophobic."

Take a look at the Imam thank on the same day of Paris attack: http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php/Our-Children-Can-Become-Rulers-of-France

How about if both Mohammedans and ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs make your skin crawl -- are you Islamohomophobic?

Oh well, looks like catholicunity has been banned.

Disrupted: The minute's silence was not observed by the entire crowd Ian Walton/Getty Images
Football fans have booed and jeered a minute's silence that was held in memory of the people who lost their lives in the Paris terrorist attacks.

At least 132 people were killed during a series of attacks in the French capital on Friday and militant group IS have claimed responsibility for the atrocity.

The Republic of Ireland hosted Bonia & Herzegovina in a Euro 2016 play-off at the Aviva Staidum, Dublin on Tuesday night but the pre-planned moment of reflection was disrespected by a minority of those in attendance.

This topic took a few days to make it into the MSM, and when it did, I heard them quote a sports fan from Turkey who said that two years ago when they had a tragedy, nobody held any moment of silence for that, so why should we suddenly do it for Paris?

  • This is so frightening and sad, and Turkey is the U.S's ally! Is there nothing sacred anymore? Not even a moment of silence for the victims and the families of utter brutality?

@Neil Obstat: You said, "I heard them quote a sports fan from Turkey who said that two years ago when they had a tragedy, nobody held any moment of silence for that, so why should we suddenly do it for Paris?"

Even if that were true, the crowd was "asked" to show respect in silence. Respect is something Muslims, I would hope, understand just like everyone else. Booing is clearly a provocative act.

I heard another one today, a venue in France had a "moment of noise" instead of silence.  How innovative!  Liberty in action.

Why ask atheists and agnostics to PRAY, for crying out loud?

  • I guess this was it:

    http://www.wbal.com/article/127552/112/moment-of-noise-commemorates-week-after-paris-terror-attacks

    Quote

(PARIS) -- Parisians and tourists gathered one week after the terror attacks in France's capital that left 130 dead, not for a moment of silence, but instead to mark the commemoration with noise.

French artists and celebrities had called for the moment of noise after seven days of grief and worry. The event included music, dancing, clapping, and in some cases, alcohol.

Large gatherings and demonstrations have been banned in the wake of the attacks, but an exception was made for a crowd like Friday's. Police stood watch as the commemoration occurred.

Among the music playing in Place de la Republique was a rendition of La Marseillaise, Bob Marley's "One Love," and Puff Daddy's "I'll Be Missing You."

Those gathered were urged to celebrate the lives cut short in the attack, and did so giving hugs and showing their unwillingness to cower to terrorism.

It reminds me of the Novus Ordo, when "active participation" is an excuse to make noise during Mass when others are trying to pray.
