St. Maximilian Kolbe was martyred but he has not been considered a martyr because they didn't kill him for being a faithful Catholic.

Perhaps God sees it otherwise.

Anyway, now we have the insanity afoot of making non-Catholics martyrs when they're killed for any reason whatsoever, which banalizes the whole category of martyrdom into irrelevance.

By that standard, Matthew Shepard, or James Dean, or Martin Luther King, Jr., or Abraham Lincoln, or JFK or even Lee Harvey Oswald would be a 'martyr'.

About that, we can be sure that God sees it otherwise.

This is a great list.

I have a friend who highly respects Southern Baptists because she believes they really stick up for the Gospel of Jesus, and that they put Catholics to shame for their courage in defense of their faith.

Looking at the list, it seems this whole thing was composed with just such people in mind!!!

The groups of people in the list above are considered “problems” that need to be dealt with. In some of the docuмents referenced above, members of the military are specifically warned not to have anything to do with such groups.

We are moving into a very dangerous time in American history. You can now be considered a “potential terrorist” just because of your religious or political beliefs. Free speech is becoming a thing of the past, and we are rapidly becoming an Orwellian society that is the exact opposite of what our founding fathers intended.

Please pray for the United States of America. We definitely need it.
