I apologize for what's mostly a blog post here, but it came to mind when I saw yet another "truther" channel I followed at some point post yet another video on "mystery Babylon".

I went through a phase of focusing on occult symbols in the media and following "Christian" "Truthers" on this subject, and have always come away with a sense of hopelessness and despair. And the more I've thought on it, the more I've realized just how Satanic these revelations and the exposure of this stuff is. If it were from Truth Itself, there would be no sense of despair, no sense of hopelessness, and no confusion. "For God is not the God of dissension, but of peace" [1 Cor. 14:33] And yet whenever I am drawn to look upon this stuff, there is confusion and peace of soul leaves me.

Why? Because these "revelations", these "exposures" of Freemasonic mysteries, symbolism and their plans for us, are not of God, but of Satan. These truther individuals, unwittingly, are serving of instruments to initiate people into the pagan occult mysteries under the guise of "truth". Author Michael Hoffman made this point in his book Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare:

99.99% of the authors and books and videos claiming to expose the occult and mind control and the cryptocracy have no idea what they are talking about. They are unconscious agents of the System.

And what it has done is make many of us feel powerless in the face of what is built up to be an invincible enemy. So, rather than use the weapons of faith offensively towards these powers, we are lulled into a spiritual apathy and pseudo-quietism where we stop the fight and wait for God to do all the work. When we should be planting the seeds ourselves through prayer and fasting, "Therefore, neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase." [1 Cor. 3:7]

I think those among us, myself included, need to step above the vain posturing and deceptive mysteries of the enemy and not fall into the same trap of Protestant "truthers" of exposing what Satan wants exposed while failing to counter it with what is true: the Catholic Faith. We need to look at this exposure of what the occultists are doing in the world with a "so what?" and not allow it to disturb our peace of soul.
