… I have said repeatedly that Donald Trump is America's first Zionist president.
I had completely forgotten who Chuck Baldwin was before reading Nadir's posting. Obviously, most of what he writes is accurate, but in the sentence quoted above, it's fair to say that he allows his optimism to run away with him.
Even if one distinguishes Zionism in the strict sense from run-of-the-mill Jєωιѕн supremacism, the title first Zionist president should still be awarded to Harry Truman, who, in giving diplomatic recognition to the new terrorist state of Israel, betrayed his own country's interests in order to get organized Jєωry's support for his reelection. All but two subsequent presidents offered nothing beyond token resistance to Zionist aims and desires, and those two—Nixon and the elder Bush—paid a heavy price for their recalcitrance.
As for Trump, as bad as he is, he has prevented the US military from murdering as many non-Jєωs as the Israeli government wants dead and as his foreign-born ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ predecessor compliantly did murder. Also, Trump has yet to insult his countrymen quite so badly as Obama did when he paroled Jonathan Pollard, one of the worst traitors in American history. This kowtowing executive order is a big step in that direction, however.
