It could dovetail into Catholic eschatology in that it would end up being where the Antichrist sets up, although I think a lot of Catholic authors hold that Antichrist will be in Rome.  Hard to say.  Of course, there's the practical problem that they'd have to neutralize the Muslims first.  "Christians" (including NO "Catholics") of course will roll over and even send donations for the cause.

The Jєωs will NEVER be able to build a true temple on the Temple Mount. Our Lord stated that not one stone of the temple would be left upon the other and he meant it.(In perpetuity) He is the Eternal Sacrifice and he will not allow it for their meaningless  animal sacrifices.  Twice since  70 AD ,  the reconstruction of the temple was attempted, the most significant was Julian the Apostate (Emperor shortly after Constantine) and actual fire was projected from the ground to stop it. (I'm not sure what happened to the other attempt.)

I suspect the Jєωs are well aware of this and will build "a"  temple (fake) away from the Temple Mount  as God won't let it happen on the actual Temple Mount.
The wailing wall is actually a wall of Pilate's Fort Antonia . So you see the Jєωs are well adept at deception on the subject of the temple and the location of it.

Men often, in endeavoring to gratify their own passions, seek what is injurious to them, reject what would be truly advantageous, and are deluded-by the idea that nothing is really useful except what is agreeable to them. When once led astray by this error, they are no longer able to act in a manner conducive to their own interests, or to take warning by the calamities which are visited upon them. The Jews, I believe, were just in this state; for, instead of regarding this unexpected earthquake as a manifest indication that God was opposed to the re-erection of their temple, they proceeded to recommence the work. But all parties relate, that they had scarcely returned to the undertaking, when fire burst suddenly from the foundations of the temple, and consumed several of the workmen. This fact is fearlessly stated, and believed by all; the only discrepancy in the narrative is that some maintain that flame burst from the interior of the temple, as the workmen were striving to force an entrance, while others say that the fire proceeded directly from the earth. In whichever way the phenomenon might have occurred, it is equally wonderful. A more tangible and still more extraordinary prodigy ensued; suddenly the sign of the cross appeared spontaneously on the garments of the persons engaged in the undertaking. These crosses were disposed like stars, and appeared the work of art. Many were hence led to confess that Christ is God, and that the rebuilding of the temple was not pleasing to Him; others presented themselves in the church, were initiated, and besought Christ, with hymns and supplications, to pardon their transgression. If any one does not feel disposed to believe my narrative, let him go and be convinced by those who heard the facts I have related from the eyewitnesses of them, for they are still alive. Let him inquire, also, of the Jews and pagans who left the work in an incomplete state, or who, to speak more accurately, were able to commence it.   Theodoret (A.D. 397-451) "Ecclesiastical History" Book III, Chapter XV Julian, who had made his soul a home of destroying demons, went his corybantic way, ever raging against true religion. He accordingly now armed the Jews too against the believers in Christ. He began by enquiring of some whom he got together why, though their law imposed on them the duty of sacrifices, they offered none. On their reply that their worship was limited to one particular spot, this enemy of God immediately gave directions for the re-erection of the destroyed temple, supposing in his vanity that he could falsify the prediction of the Lord, of which, in reality, he exhibited the truth. They came with haste from all directions, contributing alike money and enthusiasm for the work; and the emperor made all the provisions he could, less from the pride of munificence than from hostility to the truth. He despatched also as governor a fit man to carry out his impious orders. It is said that they made mattocks, shovels, and baskets of silver. When they had begun to dig and to carry out the earth a vast multitude of them went on with the work all day, but by night the earth which had been carried away shifted back from the ravine of its own accord. For the partisans of the other side report that not only did their women strip off all their personal ornaments and contribute it towards the work and operations, but even carried away the rubbish in the laps of their gowns, sparing neither the so precious clothes nor yet the tenderness of their own limbs, for they believed they were doing a pious action, and regarded everything of less moment than the work in hand. But they being driven against one another, as though by a furious blast of wind, and sudden heaving of the earth, some rushed to one of the neighbouring sacred places to pray for mercy; others, as is wont to happen in such cases, made use of what came to hand to shelter themselves; others were carried away blindly by the panic, and struck against those who were running up to see what was the matter. There are some who say that neither did the sacred place admit them, but that when they approached the folding doors that stood wide open, on coming up to them they found them closed in their faces by an unseen and invisible power which works wonders of the sort for the confusion of the impious and the saving of the godly. But what all people nowadays report and believe is that when they were forcing their way and struggling about the entrance a flame issued forth from the sacred place and stopped them, and some it burnt up and consumed so that a fate befell them similar to the disaster of the people of Sodom, or to the miracle about Nadab and Abiud, who offered incense and perished so strangely: whilst others it maimed in the principal parts of the body, and so left them for a living monument of God's threatening and wrath against sinners. But what is yet more strange and more conspicuous, there stood in the heavens a light circuмscribing a Cross, and that which before on earth was contemned by the ungodly both in figure and in name is now exhibited in heaven, and is made by God a trophy of His victory over the impious, a trophy more lofty than any other! 5. What will those gentlemen say of these events----they who are wise, as this world goes, and make a fine show of their own cause, smoothing down their flowing beard and trailing before our eyes that elegant philosophic mantle! Eeply to me for thyself, thou writer of long discourses, that dost compose incredible stories and gapest up at the skies, telling lies about things celestial, and weaving out of the movements of the stars, people's nativities and predictions of the future! Tell me of those stars of thine, the Ariadne's Crown, the Berenice's Hair, the lascivious Swan, the violent Bull! or, if thou pleasest, tell me of thine Ophiuchus, or of thy Capricorn, or of thy Lion, or all the rest that thou hast discovered for a bad end and made them into gods in constellations! Where dost thou find this cycle in thy science, where the Star that of old moved towards Bethlehem out of the East, that leader and introducer of thy own Wise Men! I, too, have something to tell from the heavens: that Star declared the presence of Christ: this Crown is that of the victory of Christ! 6. Thus much is taken from things celestial and sympathizing with our fortunes, in accordance with the mighty harmony and disposition of the universe. The true Temple is the Holy Tabernacle that houses Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The "third temple" will be a deception and house the Antichrist who will be a Jєω and homo. The ignorant and Godless (the vast majority of humanity) will fall for this deception.

The message on the coin is addressed to all the “Seventy Nations”: They are called upon to accompany the Jєωιѕн People on their journey to establish the Holy Temple as a place of peace.

A newly minted coin featuring President Trump, Ancient Persian King Cyrus, and the so-called Third Temple, that zealots aim to establish in place of Masjid al-Aqsa, has been released by the Israeli Temple Movement.

Three weeks ago, the nascent Sanhedrin and the Mikdash (Temple) Educational Center, a non-profit organization for education about the so-called Temple, partnered in the venture to mint a commemorative medallion with an image of President Donald Trump and the Persian King Cyrus. The flip side features a stylized image of the supposed Third Temple.

One side of the coin

Both signed a contract to mint 1000 coins in the hope that the message on the coin that calls out to the US president to support the Jєωιѕн claim to al-Aqsa, would resonate with enough people to cover the total expense of the coins. They offered the coins to the public for a minimum donation (http://en.hamikdash.org.il/about/we-need-your-support/the-temple-coin/) of $50, and have received an encouraging response from right-wing zealots.

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, Chairman of the Mikdash & Tsion Association that initiates the Temple reenactments and represents all the Temple movements, explained that the initial motivation for the putting the image of the US president on the coin was in gratitude for his support of Israel.
“Gratitude is an important and holy trait,” Rabbi Weiss, who is also spokesman of the nascent Sanhedrin, told Breaking Israel News. “He did a great and historical deed that the Jєωιѕн People are grateful for.”
An image of President Trump is engraved alongside an image of the ancient Persian King Cyrus, who facilitated the return of Jєωs to Jerusalem and ended the Babylonian Exile in 538 BCE.


Rabbi Weiss stressed that Trump’s goals will come to fruition only if they are geared towards rebuilding the so-called Jєωιѕн Temple.
“Cyrus and Balfour, non-Jєωs who played an enormously important role in Jєωιѕн history fell short and their political success suffered as a result,” Rabbi Weiss said.

“Trump’s political agenda can only succeed if it is focused on building the Third Temple on the place that God chose: the Temple Mount. He must not advance any two-state solution or this will lead to his downfall.”

“President Trump cannot allow the Arabs to believe that half of Jerusalem, let alone the Temple Mount, will fall to them,’ Rabbi Weiss said. “This coin should serve as a sign of our gratitude as well as a reminder of what still needs to be done. Anyone who owns this coin is showing that he agrees with both of these aspects: the gratitude for what Trump has done and the cautionary reminder that Jerusalem is the place of the Jєωιѕн Temple.”
Mordechai Persoff who established the Mikdash Educational Center which educates Jєωs about the supposed Temple through formal and experiential education, said that the Trump’s image is appropriate in light of his powerful example as a non-Jєω who has assumed a role in the geula (redemption) and the building of the so-called Temple.

“God gave us the land as part of the covenant but non-Jєωs have always played an important role in waking us up to return to Israel,” Persoff told Breaking Israel News.

“This can come in two manners,” he continued. “It can be a harsh reminder, as happened in Egypt with Pharaoh or in the h0Ɩ0cαųst when the non-Jєωs reminded us that we needed to return to our homeland as a refuge. It can also come in a positive and  loving manner, as it did with King Cyrus and Lord Balfour.”

“This coin shows that President Trump is a positive part of the Temple process, reminding us of what the Jєωs need to do.”

“This coin is intended to help in preparations for the Temple and anyone can take part in that at any time,” Rabbi Weiss said.

Proceeds from the sale of the coin will be used in reenactments of so-called Temple services as well as in other educational and practical endeavors that help prepare for what the Temple Movement sees as the destruction of al-Aqsa. Should the need arise, the organisers say, the proceeds could also used for the actual building of the Temple, that they hope will replace the Masjid..

An Israeli organization has minted a coin emblazoned with the face of Nikki Haley, President Donald Trump's former ambassador to the United Nations, to commemorate her defense of Israel in the world body.

The Sanhedrin, a Jєωιѕн organization that dreams of restoring the Jєωιѕн Temple, where ancient temples once stood in Jerusalem's Old City, is one of three religious groups behind the Haley coin.

“She supported Israel and she told the truth ... that all the United Nations, all its agenda, is to destroy Israel,” Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the group, said Wednesday. “She acted in a manner that represented biblical tenets,” he added.

Weiss said that Haley's decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Human Rights Council and her criticism of what Israel and the U.S. say is an anti-Israel bias at the U.N. earned her the recognition.

His group's coin features Haley's face set against the United Nations building with a Jєωιѕн menorah on the front, and a stylized rendition of the Jєωιѕн Temple on the back. The collector's item costs $65 for silver and $90 for gold, plus shipping, according to its website .

Haley, a devout Christian who helped strengthen ties between Israel and the American evangelical community, has attracted the adoration of Israel's religious and nationalist right wing.

Haley became known at the U.N. for her hard line against Iran and her derision of the Human Rights Council. She often chided the council for focusing singularly on Israeli abuses and neglecting poor records of other states — a stance lauded and echoed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In her last pro-Israel gesture after announcing her surprise resignation last fall, she proposed a resolution condemning the Hamas militant group for violence against Israel.

Haley also championed President Trump's decision to cut all U.S. funding to Palestinian refugees and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Trump, a hero to the Sanhedrin group for that very reason, is the face of the group's other coin, first minted last year. The token depicts Trump alongside the Persian King Cyrus. Weiss said he has sold 20,000 of the Trump coins so far.

The Trump administration's decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, celebrated by Israel, prompted the Palestinians to sever ties with Washington. The Palestinians seek east Jerusalem, which Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war, as the capital of their future state.

Proceeds from the biblical coins, the website says, will go toward preparations for establishing the third Jєωιѕн Temple — an aspiration with explosive political implications.

The hilltop spot that housed the biblical Temples is revered by Jews as the Temple Mount, the holiest spot in Judaism. Today it is considered the third-holiest site in Islam, home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. The competing claims to the compound serve as a frequent flashpoint of violence.

An Israeli organization has minted a coin emblazoned with the face of Nikki Haley, President Donald Trump's former ambassador to the United Nations, to commemorate her defense of Israel in the world body.

The Sanhedrin, a Jєωιѕн organization that dreams of restoring the Jєωιѕн Temple, where ancient temples once stood in Jerusalem's Old City, is one of three religious groups behind the Haley coin.

“She supported Israel and she told the truth ... that all the United Nations, all its agenda, is to destroy Israel,” Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the group, said Wednesday. “She acted in a manner that represented biblical tenets,” he added.

Weiss said that Haley's decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Human Rights Council and her criticism of what Israel and the U.S. say is an anti-Israel bias at the U.N. earned her the recognition.

His group's coin features Haley's face set against the United Nations building with a Jєωιѕн menorah on the front, and a stylized rendition of the Jєωιѕн Temple on the back. The collector's item costs $65 for silver and $90 for gold, plus shipping, according to its website .

Haley, a devout Christian who helped strengthen ties between Israel and the American evangelical community, has attracted the adoration of Israel's religious and nationalist right wing.

Haley became known at the U.N. for her hard line against Iran and her derision of the Human Rights Council. She often chided the council for focusing singularly on Israeli abuses and neglecting poor records of other states — a stance lauded and echoed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In her last pro-Israel gesture after announcing her surprise resignation last fall, she proposed a resolution condemning the Hamas militant group for violence against Israel.

Haley also championed President Trump's decision to cut all U.S. funding to Palestinian refugees and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Trump, a hero to the Sanhedrin group for that very reason, is the face of the group's other coin, first minted last year. The token depicts Trump alongside the Persian King Cyrus. Weiss said he has sold 20,000 of the Trump coins so far.

The Trump administration's decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, celebrated by Israel, prompted the Palestinians to sever ties with Washington. The Palestinians seek east Jerusalem, which Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war, as the capital of their future state.

Proceeds from the biblical coins, the website says, will go toward preparations for establishing the third Jєωιѕн Temple — an aspiration with explosive political implications.

The hilltop spot that housed the biblical Temples is revered by Jєωs as the Temple Mount, the holiest spot in Judaism. The Church Fathers see Third Tempe as a sign of the Antichrist.

Activists lobbying for the construction of a Jєωιѕн Temple in Jerusalem said Trump was playing a similar role to the Persian emperor Cyrus the Great, who allowed the Jєωs to return to Israel from exile.

The Temple Mount is the elevated area above Jerusalem's Western Wall that was once the site of Judaism's two temples. The site is the third holiest place in Islam and has been the source of conflict between the two religions. It is currently under Israeli sovereignty but is administered by a Muslim religious trust. Jєωs are permitted to visit the site but are not allowed to pray there.
