Evidently it's a new disturbing cultural phenomenon for women to vent on TikTok about their trivial 1st world problems.
With the rise of celebrity culture and talk shows like Jerry Springer it has been gradually normalized
for people to cast aside all sense of privacy and decorum. Then, once the technology allowed for it Facebook
popularized minutely docuмenting every mundane act of one's existence.
People share intimate details about their relationships to an audience of strangers from around the world.
I think part of this is due to erosion of organic bonds that would have otherwise formed in the real world
had not our sense of tribes like church, family, nation, ethnicity, been deliberately destroyed.
I recall someone making the observation that one of the big difference between newer vs older single family homes
is the omission of a large front porch.
It was very common for neighbors to visit one another on their porch during the early summer evenings.
Everyone knew one another and cared about one another.
In the subdivision I live in no one even waves or acknowledges anyone else. Families move in and within a year or two
they are gone and replaced by new strange faces. It's like we've become a nation of rootless transients.
Part of this might be due to the ever changing job market, changing demographics...and the crime it often brings.
That is why sportsball fanaticism is so beneficial for the elites. Identifying with a favorite team is the only thing that is permitted and encouraged. Even the concept of being an American citizen has become meaningless as half the people we encounter are aliens who share no cultural bonds with us.
