  • How dare you !?
People are suffering ! People are dying !

However, when facing the audience's questions, St Greta of Thunberg didn't know what to say because there was no script for that.

I never heard anybody suffered or died because of global warming. Australian bushfires?? Come on, they're started by arsonists and made worse by Green policies, if you didn't know these, blame the media which might have hidden those information from you.

  • Here in Ireland we are about to have an election. All parties have 'climate change' on their agenda to up carbon taxes, stop all petrol and diesel cars by 2030, half the cow population and close down coal, peat and timber fuel for keeping houses warm in our freezing winter like today. The GREENS will actually get elected in Dublin for 'saving the planet' as they say and could hold the balance of power.

All this in spite of the fact that piddly little Ireland contribute only .13% of the world's emissions. That is, 99.87% of their so-called climate change cause comes for other countries, whose emissions have NOTHING to do with Ireland. It seems this bulls..t One World Agenda propaganda can turn men and women into imbeciles as witnessed in Ireland today.

Tree-rings prove climate was WARMER in Roman and Medieval times than it is now - and world has been cooling for 2,000 years

Would you please quit your obnoxiously repeated use of grotesquely oversized fonts!?  Among other irritations, doing this drastically reduces the information that can be read from a Web page without scrolling (again and again), even with a big monitor, in case you're too clueless to have figured that out for yourself.  I'm mystified how a CathInfo member who's experienced enough to have made 1844 posts here could charitably be excused for callously continuing this obnoxiousness!?  You must have learned by now that grotesquely oversized fonts does not make a posting any more true than if it had been posted in ordinary-sized fonts.

Keep in mind the CathInfo description of ‘thumbs up’|‘thumbs down’ as expressing members' opinions that they want "more postings like this" or not.  For grotesquely oversized fonts, expect me and others to vote "not" (‘thumbs down’), regardless of semantic content with which I might agree, even strongly (e.g., "St. Greta")!

Even though I agree with you on the size problem, I don’t know if you realize that when you copy and paste something, it reproduces it with a much bigger font than the original. I try to combat this by resizing the font by using the tools above. I hope Cassini tries this method.
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

Thank you for your understanding of the problem Quo Vadis. I have tried this but sometimes it all goes up and down even when you do that. Perhaps Alligator should ask CIF to try to prevent this huge print out and stop accusing the poster of deliberately posting in absurd sizes.

I sometimes have the same problem, and find making the adjustment (when I am using the ipad) well nigh impossible.

    Dear Nadir,

In most current browsers, there is a special Paste option that automatically addresses and solves the problem. This option is accessible usually either by right-clicking or as a choice in a dropdown menu. The option typically has this designation or something quite similar: "paste as plain text"; there are, however, other possibilities.*

Here follows the opening sentence of AD's complaint (I have made similar ones) in the standard straight-paste configuration: "Would you please quit your obnoxiously repeated use of grotesquely oversized fonts!?"

Here it is when pasted using the "paste as plain text" option: "Would you please quit your obnoxiously repeated use of grotesquely oversized fonts!?"

Adieu oversized type, indeed adieu all formatting! Hello, sweet, sweet plainness!

    * If you draft a comment in Microsoft Word or a similar program, as I often do, the Paste Special option in the Edit dropdown yields the same result.
