They're not told to forget men per se, but they're told that they have no moral responsibilities or obligations to them. The social penalties for female misbehavior have disappeared. This is deeply affecting trads, but the response you get when you bring it up is to be shamed as a loser, as being hopelessly awkward around girls, unattractive, etc.

It has nothing to do with reality, it has to do with the way these boys were raised from birth to have an exaggerated moral esteem for women who behave badly.

A lot of men don't have good models of womanhood in their personal lives. They don't even know what a good woman is supposed to be like. They're just programmed to make excuses for bad feminine behavior.

Well that is definitely true of no-fault divorce, though it can work both ways in terms of that. During the sɛҳuąƖ revolution though I believe the "liberated woman" wanted to sow her wild oats in the frat houses just "like the guys." Of course that promuscuity lead to pregnancy, which lead to birth control to stop it.

Well let's face it though the woman does prefer the athletic type or the soldier because he is the strong male and basic biology tells the woman who has the stronger genes so to speak.

This is true. My grandmother was a 60's feminist and hippie and she still gets mad when I bash feminism and criticize women in general.

The point is, I've mentioned how these girls have flaked out in very bad ways to men I'm familiar with, and the response is that they must be socially awkward men, that they must have problems, making excuses for girls getting deeply involved with men they then suddenly drop without honest explanation.

The response is to start talking about me and my situation at church, because that's the native response to criticism of the general conduct of women. They try to shame the man who brings up the point.
