In my experience, innocent girls respond to emotion. Loose women tend to be less emotional, more sɛҳuąƖly overt in their expressions.

I would think "spilling your guts all over the floor trying to impress her" would be bragging about yourself and your accomplishments, not telling her how much you like her.

Maybe it wasn't the right expression to use. I don't know.

But if you're being emotionally open, you might as well rip out your guts and hand them to her on a silver platter while you're at it, because you're humiliating yourself and killing that respect she want's to have for you. And she can't love you if she can't respect you.

Granted, yes she MIGHT respond positively to it for a short while, but later on in the long run, she's going to realize that you're a wimp that she can control and manipulate emotionally. Guess what happens next (if she's decent)? Bye, bye.

Well, I couldn't talk to her. I did eventually try to communicate with her directly and express my feelings, maybe that put her off, but....

No, I didn't mess up expressing my feelings. I messed up by not expressing them earlier when I was in a better position to do so.

I've spoken to people who live in more traditional societies where there are more constraints in the communication of men and women. It's completely normal to react this way. What's abnormal, if for women to turn up their noses at sincere men they have shown interest in once the man expresses his feelings. That's a sign of a corruption in a woman

Innocent girls aren't put off by such things.

Yes, I am familiar with the concept and I agree that it is wrong. That being said, I am wondering where Tele is getting his terminology, because I have been linked to the websites of certain subcultures of men before where they use almost all the same terminology as a type of jargon. As an aside, Tele seems to use it as a crutch when he has run out of things to say to discredit anybody who disagrees with him.

Good question. I suppose a single layman cannot do much about a problem with another man's daughter or wife. It's not his fight. Ultimately, political and ecclesiastical order need to be restored; then evil customs will be uprooted by a just authority and all men will be held to account for their neglects.
