  • I am aware of the other threads on THE PRINCIPLE, those discussing the movie's pre-showing in the cinema. Now that it has been shown, I open this thread with the good news, the movie gives all the indications that it will be the hit predicted by Rick de Lano. We humans can only go so far and leave the rest to God. It seems God is pleased and we hope pours His grace into those open to the truth as they see the evidence that God's earth is at the centre of the Universe as Genesis describes.
Here is the first report I have found since opening day:

    Religion Press Release Services
Highly Anticipated Docuмentary “The Principle” Opens in Chicago with Multiple Sold-Out Screenings
    October 30, 2014
Enthusiastic crowds prompt additional openings in Chicago, Los Angeles and other key markets.

Los Angeles, CA – The controversial and compelling docuмentary THE PRINCIPLE opened exclusively in Chicago this weekend to sold out crowds and rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, THE PRINCIPLE achieved the highest per-screen average for a film opening on one screen, and ranked number four in per-screen average overall. The film, which explores the significance of the earth’s place in the cosmos, will now expand into additional theaters in Chicago, as well as key markets such as Los Angeles.

Rick DeLano, the writer/producer of THE PRINCIPLE, explains “We expected a strong opening, but we didn’t expect the outpouring of support we received in the Chicago market. We knew that THE PRINCIPLE would have a great impact on those who viewed the film, and our confidence was renewed by not only the number of people who viewed the film, but the variety. We are excited to bring astounding new findings in cosmology to the forefront, and ask the simple question of if we are significant to a wider audience.”

THE PRINCIPLE is destined to become one of the most controversial films of our time, as it brings before the public eye surprising results from recent large-scale surveys of our universe – surveys which disclose unexpected evidence of a preferred direction in the cosmos, aligned with our supposedly insignificant Earth.

THE PRINCIPLE features narration by Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager, Orange Is The New Black and Ryan’s Hope), visual animations by BUF Compagnie Paris (LIFE OF PI, THOR, THE MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS, VAN HELSING, HARRY POTTER), and commentary from prominent scientists including George Ellis, Michio Kaku, Julian Barbour, Lawrence Krauss, and Max Tegmark.

Tracing the development of cosmology from its inception (Stonehenge, the Great Pyramid at Giza), through the great revolution of Copernicus, to the astonishing new discoveries of Earth-oriented alignments in the largest structures of our observable universe, THE PRINCIPLE leads us face-to-face with the question, and the challenge – are we significant within the structure of the Universe, and, if so, why and finally, what does this mean for the future of mankind?

Early reviews have been as intriguing as the film itself:

“Remarkable, riveting and profoundly important… ‘Principle’ dramatizes the excitement and impact of recent scientific discoveries that undermine 600 years of nearly unquestioned assumptions about the insignificant role of our tiny planet in a vast universe. The movie features some of the best minds, and best talkers, in the scientific community raising questions that might have seemed unthinkable just a few short years ago.” –Michael Medved, nationally syndicated talk radio host

“…fascinating and the most earth shattering film you will see this year or possibly ever.” – Al Menconi, Al Menconi Ministries

“Groundbreaking, fair and balanced. It’s the kind of powerful, intelligent and compelling docuмentary you’ll be talking about for weeks!” – Avi Offer, NYC Film Guru

“The docuмentary itself, as far as film craft, is a work of art.” – Kevin Ott, Rockin God’s House

THE PRINCIPLE is currently showing at the Marcus Addison Cinema, 1555 West Lake Street, Addison, IL, with additional screens to open in Chicago and Los Angeles and other key cities in the coming weeks.

THE PRINCIPLE is distributed nationally by Rocky Mountain Pictures. The film was written and produced by Rick DeLano through Stellar Motion Pictures, LLC and was directed by Katheryne Ktee Thomas of In Ohm Entertainment.

  • Only thing is that people came from a couple-hundred mile radius to watch it in this single theater.

So what'll happen is that they'll open all the way over in LA so people from the a several-hundred mile radius around there might go; it'll end up in regional showings, and it will take months or years before it makes it to a theater close enough for me to be able to go.

  • If there is an organisation on earth dedicated to propagate that the earth is but a rock in space as a result of the Big Bang on which life evolved and we humans evolved from MONKEYS, it is the BBC, the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Their latest effort is THE HUMAN UNIVERSE

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0276p50

The other night I watched one of the programmes with 'Professor' Cox showing the viewers how we KNOW our place in space, on a dot orbiting the sun, a major star. Throughout we got THE PRINCIPLE, the whole heliocentric story, from Galileo to Einstein, the story THE EARTHMOVERS shows to be no more than INVENTION. we also got one of these typical 'YOU ARE HERE' photos

The tag says: 'Our Solar System in square above.' (This one above is published by Watchtower Bible Society of New York Inc., 1985, p.117. 15,500,000 copies distributed worldwide, shown in an upcoming chapter of THE EARTHMOVERS)

This is bunkum. It is a photo of a galaxy and they picked a square to tag 'our solar system.'

Anyway, back to the human Universe. It ends with the very same map of the universe depicted in all of the Cosmic Background Radiation reports. Professor Cox, a rather pleasent lad who know no better, ends by commenting on this CBR saying it is the greatest scientific find of all time. Interesting in that Stephen Hawking said the very same thing. "It is the greatest discovery of the century, if not of all time.' The CBR was first used to show the earth MOVING through space.

That of course reflects a time before Robert Sungenis and Rick de Lano found out what the latest on the CBR, that it shows the earth is at the centre of the cosmos. Needless to say Professor Cox did not know that what he was praising as the greatest science of all time showed his hour of heliocentric bull for what it is, indoctrinating the next generation with the 'we are all stardust' propaganda under the guise of science..

"“The Principle” had the biggest single-screen debut in America the weekend of October 24-26 in Addison.

    But it wasn’t enough, apparently.

Having faced down an attempt by a prominent left wing hate group to have the film’s premiere cancelled, Marcus Cinemas decided that the controversy was too much, and declined to extend our run."

     :roll-laugh1: :roll-laugh1: :roll-laugh1: :roll-laugh1:

So much for a "nationwide release".

You didn't finish his quote. You're really dishonest. They went to another cinema in Chicago anyway.

  • Until this Thursday.  Then the new cinema are not showing it either.

Hardly going to set the scientific world on its head is it?

It could hardly be more of a failure if it tried.

"The Principle" is proving ggreg wrong and I love it. This movie will soon be playing nationally. We know some insider information ggreg doesn't, and, ggreg will soon find this out.

Failure? You must be joking ggreg. The simple fact that it has so many enemies is proof that it is the opposite. A failure is something that has no impact whatsoever. The PRINCIPLE is the last bit of science the Copernicans want, and it seems they will do and say anything to undermine a piece of sciencer that provided evidence for a geocentric creation. I am delighted Truth is Eternal is in possession of info that tells us it will be shown elsewhere. The more publicity this science gets the better.

  • Everything has an impact, simply by reason of it's existence.

A failure is something that fails to achieve what it set out to achieve.

A couple of weeks in a tiny cinema 30 miles outside of Chicago, followed by a single week in an even smaller cinema was not the goal of the producers.  Nor does it match the hyperbole posted here over the last year.

It won't go nationwide because pretty much nobody is interested.  Even in America, most people believe that the earth travels around the Sun.

Actually, ggreg, although you are correct in your above assertion, geocentrists do form a substantial minority in America, according to the following poll:

    http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2014/02/14/277058739/1-in-4-americans-think-the-sun-goes-around-the-earth-survey-says

So the movie's modest box office returns are due more to lack of interest among the American public than lack of geocentrists.

As the article points out that is more a testament to their ignorance and lack of interest in anything outside of Nascar and sports rather than a cosmological view.

"A quarter of Americans surveyed could not correctly answer that the Earth revolves around the sun and not the other way around, according to a report out Friday from the National Science Foundation."

So 50% know which goes around what and of the 50% who don't know, 50% made a lucky guess and 50% didn't.

We have a really stupid reality TV person in the UK who thought the Sun and the Moon are the same thing.
