Stop listening to Art Bell.

No kidding!  No one would even know about Maitreya if it weren't for Coast to Coast AM talking about that loon on late night radio.

That's not quite true, Laramie.  First of all, I heard about this Maitreya thing & Benjamin Creme way back in the 70's -80's long before I ever heard of Art Bell.  They had (or still have) a Tara Center in Hollywood.  Also, I never heard Art Bell talk about it but then I didn't listen to Art that much.

Still, though.  Art Bell?  Hollywood?  I'm not so sure this guy is all that he's cooked up to be.

I certainly wouldn't have...

Just the title of this thread was a real blast from the 90's... Many a night in late high school / early college was wasted listening to that show.

The "ghost voice recording" episodes were always spine-chillers...

Ah, the ignorance of youth.

I think the best description was that Creme and his one world religious deity are a diabolical version of John the Baptist:

Lengthy video (2.5 hrs) but the only one I've ever seen on these subjects that gets their facts 100% right.
