  • Many think that Maitreya is the Beast. Okay, as traditional Catholics we should reject him, but how should we judge this case?
Allegedly, he is an ascended master and Messiah claimant.
One of his propagators is Benjamin Creme, who have infuriated Catholics by saying that they worship Mary.
But some sites claim that Catholics are complicit in the Maitreya case, such as this and this. (The latter claims that he will be aided by a future leader of the Catholic Church)
I try to ignore it, as the Church is supported by history, but this thing is very real. Benjamin Creme and his gang deemed the spiral of Norway a sign of Maitreya. Plus, many Jesus apparitions have been deemed the work of Maitreya by Protestants and Share Int'l.
Please pray that this Maitreya phenomenon will stop. Do you have any information on the subject?

  • I need information on whether Ben warned Catholics against alleged "Mary worship".
And here's a link to a reliable, Tradcat source.
Maybe I'm too scrupulous regarding the Novus Ordo, but we should pray in order to dismantle Share Int'l. We can stop this filth as St Paul defeated Simon the Sorcerer with the power of Jesus.

  • I think the Beast would have a bit more credibility than that Maitreya fellow.

  • Now they're playing with a Heirloom of Jesus... (read the consecration part), but they deny the Real Presence, instead, they proclaim memorialism, which makes one prone to fall into false Messiahs. If we believed in the Real Presence and in the Trinity since the zero, then they're trying to disprove us.

  • Maitreya is a scam perpetrated by Benjamin Creme, mostly
    for money and power. Laughable.

  • I'm PMing Matthew.

Pelly has waited a while, but now is back to suggesting that Catholics read the Satanic crap on heathenish pagan websites.

Why are these posts always filled with links? Why not make a statement like, "I read this somewhere" and then generally summarize the concept?

I'm sick of this underhanded effort being made to tempt and corrupt the Catholic members here.
This evil of heresy spreads itself. The doctrines of godliness are overturned; the rules of the Church are in confusion; the ambition of the unprincipled seizes upon places of authority; and the chief seat [the Papacy] is now openly proposed as a rewar

  • I explain this: I've lost my faith due to a Sabbatarian site. I don't want this to happen again, but sadly, there aren't Tradcat priests nearby to discuss these things in private.
I'm not proselytizing users here, so please don't start a defamatory campaign against me.
I think I have too much Catholic guilt.

If you lost your Catholic faith, its nobody's fault but yours.  Save your money and take a trip to your nearest traditional priest.
Many people with no knowledge of the faith have lost it thru the internet.
I will pray for you!

No kidding!  No one would even know about Maitreya if it weren't for Coast to Coast AM talking about that loon on late night radio.

  • That's not quite true, Laramie.  First of all, I heard about this Maitreya thing & Benjamin Creme way back in the 70's -80's long before I ever heard of Art Bell.  They had (or still have) a Tara Center in Hollywood.  Also, I never heard Art Bell talk about it but then I didn't listen to Art that much.

Still, though.  Art Bell?  Hollywood?  I'm not so sure this guy is all that he's cooked up to be.

    I certainly wouldn't have...

Just the title of this thread was a real blast from the 90's... Many a night in late high school / early college was wasted listening to that show.

The "ghost voice recording" episodes were always spine-chillers...

    Ah, the ignorance of youth.

  • I think the best description was that Creme and his one world religious deity are a diabolical version of John the Baptist:

Lengthy video (2.5 hrs) but the only one I've ever seen on these subjects that gets their facts 100% right.
