  • Please discuss things observed in nature that teach us lessons.

    For example:

Sunflowers, what can we learn from them? They always face the sun. They are tall with some of the largest flowers. They grow best in groups, because if growing singly or in low density populations, a little wind and rain will knock them over where they then dwell in the lower things of the earth, instead of supporting each other against the wind to grow straight op toward heaven. How can we expect to stay upright and heavenward, reaching great heights when we are so few and far between?
"Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect."
"Seek first the kingdom of Heaven..."
"Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment"

  • Most blue flowers (representing Our Lady and humility) stay closed at night and only open as the sun rises (representing the humble soul's dependence on God to bloom and prosper).
