This topic is intended for discussion about cryptids, aka. alleged creatures without any or scarce evidence of their existence.
The first subjects will be the Chupacabra and the unicorn.
Unicorns appear in the private revelations of Marie-Julie Jahenny as well as in medieval bestiaries.
While unicorns are mentioned in private revelation as heavenly creatures, the same is not true for the Chupacabra, often thought to be a demon by locals and regarded as a treasure by UFO fanatics.
But there is a problem, and the problem is that it seems like that there's more evidence for the Chupacabra than for unicorns.
Also, are belief in cryptids such as Nessie, the Yeti and so on and Catholicism compatible? Please note that we're not in the Middle Ages anymore.

What do you mean "were not in the middle ages anymore"?

You think that just because youve got TV and condoms that youre better than the people who faced cold hard reality every day? You are nothing compared to them.
As far as the monsters you mention, the church would have said they exist if there was evidence, but where evidence is lacking or the thing is supernatural, then the church has the right to decide on what is true or not, because it knows from its experience what supernatural things look like.

These things you mention - like the entire "paranormal" pseudoscience - are all demonic distractions from the New Age movement. Entertain them at your peril.
