POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has extended the county’s curfew another night following a weekend of unrest and criminal activity.

“The death of George in Minneapolis at the hands of that police officer was outrageous,” Sheriff Grady Judd said. “Had that police officer done here what he did there, he would have been locked up in the county jail by sundown.”

“But Minneapolis is not Polk County,” Judd continued. “And I want to say unequivocally that the community here is unbelievable … But please understand, that if you come here to riot, to loot, to injure people, we’re going to lock you up in the county jail.”
Judd emphasized his appreciation for peaceful protests, but condemned those who were there over the weekend looting and rioting.

Polk County’s curfew goes into effect from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Judd ended his address by speaking on a possible threat they’ve seen referenced on social media that suggests riot activity may start trickling into residential neighborhoods.

“I would tell them, if you value your life, you probably shouldn’t do that in Polk County,” Judd said. “Because the people of Polk County like guns, they have guns, I encourage them to own guns, and they’re going to be inside their homes tonight with their guns loaded. And if you try to break into their homes tonight and try to steal, to set fires, I’m highly recommending they blow you back out of the house with their guns.”

A brave police officer who is saying what needs to be said. Too bad that there are so many Democrat strongholds in the US where the citizens cannot defend themselves because they do not have weapons for defense, or don't believe in having them.

My husband and I just purchased a piece of property in eastern WA, the conservative part of the state. The little town advertises, with a big sign at the entrance to the town, about the local gun club. I feel safer there than here in Seattle.

The victim's body was mangled by the stomping and kicking of the mob, but he was able to sit up later and was seen holding his hand to his head before being taken in an ambulance.

Across the city there had been 74 arrests by 10.45pm Saturday on the fifth night of rioting across the US over the killing of George Floyd, a black man who died in police custody after a white officer knelt on his neck in Minneapolis.

The National Guard was activated to defend the White House from attack as the Secret Service agents on the ground struggled to keep control of crowds descending on the seat of the US government.

The Big Apple was ablaze as NYPD vehicles were torched and ransacked while shocking footage emerged of cops violently detaining protesters.

In Atlanta a cop suffered 'significant injuries' when they were hit by an ATV, while in Chicago, a man commandeered a police horse and rode off on it.

Los Angeles deployed the National Guard for the first since the 1992 riots when the police officers who beat up black man Rodney King walked free of all charges and California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in LA County.

A total of 11 states and the District of Columbia had activated the National Guard by the early hours of Sunday, as law enforcement buckled under the strain of the protests.

States calling for Guard assistance included California, Georgia, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington state.

Businessman and former IU football player shot dead by rioters in Indinapolis

DAILYKENN.com -- Far-leftwing rioters killed two more individuals in Indianapolis, Indiana.

One of the victims, 38-year-old Chris Beaty, was a business leader and former Indiana University football player. He was killed near his downtown apartment during "an outbreak of violence" as anarchists ruled the streets over the weekend.

18-year-old Dorian Murrell was fatally shot "during separate shootings that unfolded late Saturday and early Sunday, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office," foxnews.com reported.

It appears that blacks are killing blacks to protest the killing of a black man, allegedly by a white police officer in Minneapolis.

Video of a violent confrontation between a group of looters and a city couple went viral Sunday, a graphic glimpse at the chaos that gripped Rochester in the hours after a long and peaceful Black Lives Matter protest ended Saturday afternoon.

The video shows a group of eight men, armed with metal clubs and wooden 2x4s breaking the window of a jewelry store on Marshall Street near Monroe Avenue. A young woman comes out of the door of the 2nd floor apartment located above over the store. Her husband stands beside her.

"Go away" she can be heard saying to the men, "People live here!"

Four police officers were shot in St. Louis. The woman mayor certainly mitigated a much higher casualty count. If the mayor was a man, you can be sure there would've been at least fourteen officers shot. Women are more empathetic to the needs and concerns of the people. They need our leadership and natural healing effects.
