It doesn't add up that someone who ostensibly had no experience or training in long range shooting would not only be able to plan this out, get all the guns, ammo and hardware up into the room without being on security cameras or having anyone to help him, but to be capable of placing his shots that far away into the crowd well enough to injure hundreds and kill at least 58 people at long range.

How did he know to obtain and how to install and use bump stocks to speed up his semi-auto rifles?
.
Later reports said they found a scrap of paper in the hotel room with numbers and scratching on it that they believe is what Paddock used to estimate the trajectory of his rifle bullets. And he knew how to do this without ever having been to a shooting range? No military experience? No hunting skills? The "scrap of paper" sounds like a stopgap measure to cover the bases.
.
At this point, it's more believable that he was a patsy and the real perpetrators had secret access to the room in advance so they could move the hardware in without being on security cameras doing it. How they get all the local law enforcement to cooperate with the charade is kind of incredible, though. There are good men in law enforcement.

What a world.
