didn't happen, I should say) in CDA, was the exact same thing,
mutatis mutandis, as when the Black Panthers in California, exercising their Second Amendment rights, marched peacefully,
without one shot being fired, without harm being done to a single person,
legally bearing their arms. The CDA patriots were within their rights, and so were the Black Panthers. Governor Ronald Reagan, though, had an issue with this, and banned open carry in California as a result.
I carry no water for the Black Panthers, but I do concede that they had (and have) the same constitutional rights as anyone else.
