  • Its heresy for us to submit to this nonCatholic apostate zionist gov is it not?
How far does that go because somethings we cannot avoid complying with?
I see that Chapels have the American flag next to the altar. Is that permissable?

  • We need to make proper distinctions. The principles of the United States ("liberty" et al.), of course, conflict with the Catholic faith and cannot be followed without contradicting it. At the same time though, the government we have must be abided by insofar as at least paying our taxes and being supportive in any (if any) works it carries out that actually do contribute to the common good of the nation. We should pray for our government and especially for the conversion of any of its leaders who need conversion.

  • It's a sin for us to submit to our government. As the poster above said, we do have to pay our taxes and such, but we don't have to listen to them if they tell us to support the gαys, or to take the microchip. When they make you take the chip, it's time to run for the hills, because once you take the chip you're under their control.

  • Our current pagan government is (so far as we know) the lawfully elected authority according to the laws of the land (with exceptions), therefore we are required to respect that authority in so far as it doesn't cause us to sin. If the government were to require it's subjects to do something sinful, or persecuted the Church, then our obligation is dissolved. Right now it seems that that obligation is beginning to dissolve, considering we're presently worse than the Aztecs.

Some may not want to admit it, but the US. Constitution makes provision for secession from the Union.

And as is the saying of the Spanish: Dios, Patria, y Rey

I agree however, we are obligated to pray for our country, and the land God placed us on.

I am proud to have the American flag in my chapel, and I pray for our country, that someday it will be a truly Catholic country.  Pray to stop abortion which is the greatest evil today.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • Yes, I agree, but it doesn't mean you won't have tanks in your front yard if you fail to pay those unjust taxes.

Especially if there is more than one of you, and you have "land".

There was a high-profile case a few years ago; I'm sure it's even here on CathInfo if you search for it.

Besides, for those who aren't single you come out ahead if you have a "natural" number of children. I realize this doesn't help the single folk, but at least the married folk have some help (and let's face it, when raising a large family, you could USE the help!)

Yes, our country needs prayers. Only thing is that America won't be fully restored until after the three days of darkness. Same thing goes for the rest of the world...

  • It is a minor point given everything else on this tread, but I don't think national flags would be appropriate in church no matter how good the government was.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • Yes well flags are not necessary as they are not like a holy picture or statue that will turn our distracted minds and hearts to Our Lord.

i think it fortunate that you posted that while the question mark took place of your flag, because somebody could point to the aussie flag you sometimes have and try to undermine you.
