Who's the guy with the Amish beard? And I don't recognize the religious order he's a part of. I think they just wanted to show a chain (implying hardcore) and a heart with a sword through it -- which few non-Catholics and almost no Novus Ordo Catholics would understand. I couldn't help but think of what the average non-Catholic would think after seeing the picture and reading the propaganda next to it. In the American (brainwashed) mind, nothing says "extremist" like an Amish beard -- that's what all the Muslim "terrorists" sport in Hollywood movies.

Should we hold our breath that Heidi Beirich will ever write an article about "radical traditionalist Jews" who promote genocide?

I'm not convinced most people will see it that way anymore Matthew.  At worst they'll see the guy as a kook.

Only some dense Protestants and Novus Ordo types and SWPL types will hate him.

I thought it was the symbol of the Passionist's at first, but I checked again and it's not.

Personally I can't help but feel flattered, this coming from belly-draggers at the SPLC.

I believe that is an emblem of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I do not recognize the person.

Incidentally, you should feel free to "talk back" to SPLC/ADL types here:
