Notice anything? Some "Fathers" of Flat Earth1. Samuel Birley Rowbotham 2. William Carpenter 3. John Jasper 4. Wilbur Glenn Voliva
You're very dishonest...Happenby has given you many, many flat earth quotes from the REAL Church Fathers.
Also note the, nigh-immediate, derail instigated by them, like a magic trick."No no, don't look at or think about the actual topic, or what it could portend. Look here, I'm insulting you in between irrelevancies, like Myrna's Catholicity...."
And what if we do look at or think about the topic? What would be your response? It would likely be rude and nasty. And it's likely, too, that you wouldn't even consider seriously addressing what anyone would say in response to your OP, if what they say disagrees with you in any way at all.
Do you believe all Infallibly Defined Dogmas’ of the Catholic Church without innovation(s)?The majority of people on Cathinfo.com who refuse to believe that the earth is flat also do not believe all Infallibly Defined Dogmas’ of the Catholic Church without innovation(s).
Would it be a stretch, in light of the above, to at least suspect that the "Catholics" who are pushing this dreck just might not be Catholic Catholics even merely by profession?I ask that if this "FE" business can be reasonably shown to be proselytizing for another religion, then wouldn't that change things a mite?
The Guardian was kinda asking the same question...Flat-Earthers are back: 'It’s almost like the beginning of a new religion'Link here for article... BTW, an earlier video I posted on another thread was taken from this article.
With all honesty, every real Catholic on this website has to answer this question with a resounding "no", because The Catholic Church doesn't have any "Dogmas' ". This is a weird question to ask over and over again, as it is not even proper English. Others have pointed this out, so you realy need to drop the apostrophe. If you drop the apostraphe and make the word "Dogmas" instead of "Dogmas' " people would actually start saying "yes"!Dogmas' do not exist...
.I keep waiting for what it is that belongs to the unnamed "Dogmas' " but they haven't said what they are..Dogmas' what?.
The horizon always appears perfectly flat 360 degrees around the observer regardless of altitude. All amateur balloon, rocket, plane and drone footage show a completely flat horizon over 20+ miles high. Only NASA and other government "space agencies" show curvature in their fake CGI photos/videos.
The horizon always rises to the eye level of the observer as altitude is gained, so you never have to look down to see it. If Earth were in fact a globe, no matter how large, as you ascended the horizon would stay fixed and the observer / camera would have to tilt looking down further and further to see it.
The natural physics of water is to find and maintain its level. If Earth were a giant sphere tilted, wobbling and hurdling through infinite space then truly flat, consistently level surfaces would not exist here. But since Earth is in fact an extended flat plane, this fundamental physical property of fluids finding and remaining level is consistent with experience and common sense.
