Actually the people of Central America are predominantly Catholic and friendly to Catholic tradition.

How much time have you spent in Central America?

Poche, Central America is going Protestant very, very quickly. To the point where Catholics are the minority in many countries.

It is true that Protestantism has been making inroads in Central America, especially the Pentecostals, however the region itself is still majorly Catholic, 70.9%.
In five of the eight Central American Countries Catholics no longer represent the majority of the total population, but Catholics are still the largest single group among all religious groups in those countries: Belize 35.7%, El Salvador 39.5%, Guatemala 42.6%, Honduras 43.6%, Nicaragua 49.1%.

Since Pope Francis famous “who am I to judge, mortal sin is accepted.

Peter....confirm thy brethren.
Mr. Bergoglio confirms them in sin.
