Ariel Sharon died January 11, 2014

Today I came across another video from a different source about this Rabbi and it got me thinking about the Second Coming of Christ.
I realized I do not remember ever learning much about what happens after the Second Coming. I think I read that Protestants believe He will live with the peoples of the earth for 1000 years, but I really have not thought much about it, and don't trust Protestant thinking most of the time.
I ask sincerely does anyone know what the Church teaches about what happens AFTER His coming. Is that the end of this era, this time period. I would ask my priest but lately, I have been asking him so many things about all the goings on, and he is so busy helping others who need his attention. Therefore I ask here, will I get a reply, I don't know.

When He comes again it will be The End—no rapture, no 1,000 years—but The End.

There are some Catholics who believe this also. Milleniarism is the belief that Our Lord Jesus Christ will gloriously reign on earth for a thousand years. I think this theory may have been condemned in the past but I know they are some traditional Catholics who seriously adhere to it, like Fr. Basilio Meramo.
At the end of time Christ will return in all His splendour to gather together the just, to annihilate hostile powers, and to found a glorious kingdom on earth for the enjoyment of the highest spiritual and material blessings; He Himself will reign as its king, and all the just, including the saints recalled to life, will participate in it. At the close of this kingdom the saints will enter heaven with Christ, while the wicked, who have also been resuscitated, will be condemned to eternal damnation. The duration of this glorious reign of Christ and His saints on earth, is frequently given as one thousand years.

There is no "1,000 years."
The Church teaches that was the medieval period, when the whole of society was essentially Christian for about 1,000 years.
Fr. Pfeiffer used to give catechism lessons on the Second Coming and he said that it is believed that the remaking of the world by fire, and the descent of the Kingdom of Heaven down onto the re-made earth will occur approximately 40-45 days after the death of the Antichrist.

So, Yitzhak Kaduri admitted that Jesus is the Messiah and that he would return after Sharon's death? This doesn't seem terribly earth-shattering to me.

Do you remember if Fr. Pfeiffer meant that as is said, "there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth"? Apocalypse 21

Not earth-shattering! Yet, it is foretold that God will someday call the Jews back to Him, and when I saw this I wondered if this might be the beginning of waking up of the Jєωιѕн people.
This is so interesting, thank you all for your input.

Matthew I am confused as to why this was moved to this area, the Second Coming of Christ should not be considered as Fighting Errors in the Modern World, perhaps you meant another "Catholic Living in the Modern World"?

Probably anything regarding "Jews" go in the Fighting Errors area.

Myrna,
I am thinking whether this Rabbi could have been among the select number of Jews who know the arcane teachings of Israël, and whether he perhaps adopted the messianic name of Jesus from these teachings. Michel Drach, a famous 19th century Rabbi who converted to the true Religion, has written elaborately on these arcane teachings which prove very clearly that Our Lord Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah. For example, these secret teachings say that the Messiah is the "Son of David" and the "Son of Joseph". He said that the ancient Israelites believed that in the Christ, the Divine Essence would be united with human nature, and that He would be born from the Royal Virgin from Davidic Lineage.
Unto these days, these secret teachings have been transmitted from generation to generation among the Jews, but only a select number of them have received these instructions, and they are transmitted exclusively by verbal tradition. They do not write them down.

If anyone wants to distinguish the Catholic position (as I tersely stated it) from the numerous wrong positions, I think Dr. Sungenis does a great job in this excerpt: http://judaism.is/assets/rapture.pdf

Thank you, since the Jews do play a part in the end times I find this info. very interesting and something I did not know about. I will try to do some research. I always rejoice when I hear about a Rabbi such as this Michel Drach coming to Christ. There are Jews and then there are Jews. We do pray for them when we pray the Act of Consecration of the Human Race. I have always loved that prayer.

You are, I am sure correct about the reason why it was moved here, and not there.

The messiah of the Jews is the Antichrist(666). Do not let yourselves be deceived and follow their messiah. I don't care what Kaduri allegedly said his name is. He died a Jew. Jews are not saved. Only Catholics are saved. Kaduri did not become a Catholic before he died. He did not teach that one must be a Catholic to be saved. He did not receive baptism before he died. Rather he spent his final days on earth teaching the Jews how to recognize their messiah who many saints and other pious Catholics hold will be the Antichrist.
Please read "On Antichrist" by St. Robert Bellarmine. He devoted an entire book to this topic so that we don't fall into error. This book also proves that the Roman Pontiff can never be the Antichrist.
Don't be surprised if the name of the Antichrist is "Yeheshuah" or "Yehoushuah". It very well might be. The fact that Scripture warns us about his name is a red flag not to be deceived by his name. Who would be fooled by someone named "Schlomo Lipshitz"? Many of the Zionist leaders use fake names anyway.

... Michel Drach ...
His name is Paul-Louis-Bernard Drach. I apologise for the mistake.

I did wonder if Jesus appeared to this Jєωιѕн Rabbi, about Baptism, so you have given a new twist on this topic. Thanks for your input.

Yes, that is what he meant. That the earth will be destroyed by God by fire, in order to purify it for His presence, because New Jerusalem will dwell on earth and He with us.
So, a short period of peace (40-45 days) after He strikes antichrist dead and the General Judgment takes place, and then he melts all the earth, dissolving every atom.

I have the book History of Antichrist by Rev. Huchede.
There is a quote:
The end of the world will take place almost immediately after the death of Antichrist. An interval of forty- forty-five days, however, will be granted, in order to give many a chance to do penance.
It is probably during this interval that the accomplishment of the prophecy of St. Paul shall be realized in the conversion of the Jews who were followers of Antichrist. (All Israel shall be saved.)
It is probably that our resurrection will take place on Easter Sunday; such is the opinion of Lactance and of St. Anselm. If there will be an interval of forty-five days between the death of Antichrist and our resurrection, the death of Antichrist must take place during the days of debauchery which precede the holy time of Lent.
The renewal of heaven and earth will take place immediately after the General Judgment.
We can reasonably admit the absolute possibility of annihilating the world, be we fail to discover any motives for which the divine Wisdom would do it. Hence it follows that what will perish, what will pass away, what will disappear, is not the substance, but the figure, that is to say, the exterior phenomenon or the actual aspect of the world.
