Back to the topic at hand though --

I'm not even wild about "The Passion of the Christ". Call me old-fashioned, or an ex-seminarian, but I have experienced meditation and books on the topic, and that is FAR better and more spiritually fruitful than any passive movie-watching experience.

Plus Mel's movie falls short in SO many ways, I basically can't watch it anymore.

Agree!

There was a poster on Novus Ordo Watch years ago who skewered Mel Gibson's movie and gave quite an in depth review. Very impressive takedown of the Passion.

Did you know that a Red sea pedestrian owns more or less 95% of the copyrights of the photos of the Holy Shroud / Holy Face?

He was the official photographer for a special docuмentary in 1968, and since he took the photos, well, he controls the market of the Holy Face. Business as u$ual.
