This Forum is packed with puritanical, jansenist hypocrats.

I don't see why you post here if you don't like the forum. This is really the best Traditional Catholic forum. If you don't like it here, go to either AQ, FE, or CAF and I bet you'd be banned from all three just for a being a sedevacanist (even though you don't consider yourself a sede).

he wont, he has no where else to go, likely and no one will put up with a self professed druggie......that long.soon as he tries to sell the weed as a sacremental  :smoke-pot: :bob-marley: it would be by-bye for him. :boxer:

But remember Belloc, anything that has the "roscoe seal of approval" HAS to be a doctrine.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

At the risk of repeating myself, This Forum is Chockablock with Hypocratical Jansenism

  • How does Belloc get the idea that 'most' MJ has additives? Is he secretly testing the crop? I personally have never encountered this alleged phenomenon, although I would recommend avoiding a strain known as Kush.

The Govt is the originators of MK Ultra? I thought Belloc didn't believe in this. At any rate, the crusade against MJ was begun precisely because the green herb is an antidote to MKU.

Anslinger( Godfather of DEA and the brains behind the MJ Madness propaganda film) was deeply involved in MK research.

  • Frank Zapper? I think he means Frank Zappa, but Zappa was never a member of Led Zep. And the quote attributed to "Zapper" belongs to a Hal Ziegler according to this link: http://www.orthodoxphotos.com/readings/rock/deranging.shtml

    Quote
Alice Cooper, who took the name of a witch when he consecrated himself to Satan (RR, p. 46), tears chickens and dolls to pieces on the stage and then throws the pieces out into the crowd because "all the audience wants is sex and violence. I know because I used to watch television all day" (LJL, p. 98).

From interviews I've seen with Cooper, who's a born-again type and whose father was a Mormon preacher, he never "consecrated himself to Satan." Even in the early days of the band when he was an atheist he intended the music and the stage act to have a tongue-in-cheek appeal, and always intended to portray the dark themes in his music negatively. And i seriously doubt he was tearing live chickens apart, probably fake chickens. Not that this means one should listen to his music, but I think the portrayal in the article is off a bit.

  • The fact of the matter with these rock groups is that they are pro-immorality and anti-Catholic at least implicitly.  This was part of the one-worlders goal for global government - destroy traditional culture and replace it with filth.  These groups are a terrible influence for the young and the groups are sometimes into the occult.

I myself listened to this garbage before I asked my church's traditional priest about it.  He told me the music was intrinsically evil since it inverts the proper structure of music (emphasis on rhythm instead of melody/harmony) so I stopped listening to it.  I'm embarrassed that I used to listen to some of this trash.
