Sorry Eamon, you still have a ways to go for the longest sentence in English.  Nice try though.

  • I cannot be certain you are ignoring roscoe, and it does not matter... but all I did was quote his truly profound signature :)

Hoping you and yours are well in body, mind, and soul, and enjoying a peaceful Advent...

I understood, I was just having a little fun. You have to admit, it was one heck of a long sentence. I could easily imagine running out of breath about a third of the way through.  God Bless.

To tell you the truth, I guess I have seen his signature in so many various forms within the context of his posts, I didn't even pay attention to the actual "signature".  So I guess I never realized what you wrote in your post, was Roscoe's fine print. :roll-laugh1:

we have plenty of times when no Pope was in office, or a contested election or multiple "popes", etc...as far as proof, whoever said this (Roscoe?) should do the research.....if they are too lazy, far be it for me to burn my precious time on it.....

suffice to say-yes, there have been periods of vacant seats, will be again (see prophecy of fleeing pope that is later killed, etc)

I don't see why you post here if you don't like the forum. This is really the best Traditional Catholic forum. If you don't like it here, go to either AQ, FE, or CAF and I bet you'd be banned from all three just for a being a sedevacanist (even though you don't consider yourself a sede).
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  •

the usual tripe response from Roscoe, ie, we are all Jansenists,etc....is anyone else really tired of that (no pun to this topic) broken record???

Since Jansenists are anti-piety at times (like rosaries, etc), really does not fit here but hey, as long as it can be used a a slur to make a small man feel big... :smirk:
